They temporarily moved the 3pt line in, during the 1995 season.. That's why Charles Barkley shot 38%.. He stopped taking those 3pt shots when the 3pt line was moved back to it's normal place, where it is today
The knock on Charles, especially with the suns is that when he got the ball he would literally hold it for 10 or 15 seconds then try his move and if it wasn't there he would kick it to a teammate who then had to hurry a shot.
Barkley will beast in the paint but will need to improve on his stamina to keep up with the speed of game play. People forget that today’s style of play will need you to be in tremendous shape.
His rebounds would probably be lower in today's game, probably in the 10 to 12 range. When he played most shots were attempted within 15 feet, now with the 3s there are longer rebounds and an increase of guards getting the rebounds now. His 3 pt shooting would be as bad as Russ that year you brought up was the shortener 3. And he only shot that well for one season. It's not like he had a LeBron turnaround in his career especially later on. But with that being said I do think he would make use of the spacing of today's game and would probably have more space to work

But with that being said I do think he would make use of the spacing of today's game and would probably have more space to work
You left someone out regarding rebounding, who WAS the "round mound of rebound" in his era - WES UNSELD. Now, as a well rounded player Charles Barkley wins, but Unseld was even more intimidating than Barkley on the boards.
Malone, Timmy, KG, Mchale accomolished more. But a prime Chuck was a better player and would destroy them all one on one.
I like the intro music at 0:03!
Would like to see a time machine which took today stars to old school NBA.
Start easy, Patrick Beverly, Russell Westbrook, Steven Adams.
Reason I said easy, each has old school play in 'em
