Just watched Craig and Dale Brisby and subscribed and getting ready to go to Craig Cameron University. Craig’s video with Dale sold me, “ it’s all about the heart”. Excellent with horses. Loved your discription of “horsemanship”. Dale your views on cattle company about raising calves and etc, on point. Excellent videos Dale!!! Keep me coming at 90.
My horse is like Murphy but in a soft rope headstall with a Bosal knot , in fact she will do what I ask without a Bridle or headstall on-I'm lucky and gratful to have her :-)
I chose the perfect horse for myself and he's a far shot from any of the horse you're choosing from. He was a 6 year old who had never been successfully haltered when I got him.
Yeah I like Murphy too. Looking for a horse just like that for my trail/hunting horse. I am playing with a horse right now that is buddy sweet and needs some experience but I think I can get him there with some patience and time....Thanks Craig...Jer from Cochrane ALBERTA
This could be a series. 4 new horses every time. Maybe for different jobs? In this video we choose from 4 kid safe horses? In this one we’re looking for a good intermediate riders trail horse? Craig I’d watch every single one of them if you’d make them. Maybe invite Dale out!
Ranch working, I think Murphy would be the best. Just physically he is imposing and big boned. He's strong and muscular but not to the point he's excessive, especially for a gelding. He has a soft but intelligent eye and the conformation is beautiful. His color is stunning, but not everything. I would also think, horse flesh wise, not considering pedigree, he would be the priciest though for all the above reasons, as well as his training and solidness mentally. He acts more of a thinker than a horse who reacts. If any of my points are wrong or off topic let me know. I have horse evaluation CDE's (Career Development Events) for my FFA Chapter in March before state Convention and this video is very useful with Mr. Cameron describing as well as showing what to look for in a solid Quarter conformation and overall horse.
Murphy is a lot smaller than my horse by height my horse is 15.2 and my horse is a big paint a he is a great horse. But like Craig said Murphy is still a good horse.
Funny but Murphy is the one I would have suggested if I were helping you choose because he seemed very suitable for what you want for your use. None of them would be of the slightest interest to me because they are not my breed and I don't especially like to breed half Arabs when I can breed purebreds although I do like Arab Morgan crosses. Arab Paint crosses are highly popular right now although I don't especially care for spots.
I like the first one you rode awsome horse. I have a question I weight 250 pounds and 5 feet and 7 tall I don't want a big horse that is too big to get on and off without any help what is the best horse for me is on the weight and height side???????
+Jean Pittenger i am at your same situation :) i am not a expert but a paint or a TB could carry you well and they can get pretty tall but you could find a short one, but it depends what skill level you are
reagans Johnson: 152 in my country is a pony, certainly not a big horse. the average ridinghorse here is 170. what is the use of your comment anyway? just to say that your horse is bigger and better than Murphy? I think Murphy is a very good buy!
Man how I’d love to have horse like Murphy. Beautiful stallion.
I had Murphy picked out too. Beautiful horse, moves well, gentle and isn’t spooky. Perfect for what I’m looking for.
Murphy is one damn fine horse. Buy him now.
If I had more space and great place to ride I’d covet that horse.

I’d like a horse like Murphy❤️
I learned a heck of a lot from these videos!
I don’t miss a single post.
Craig to me is one of the best, if not the best
Terrific video
Don’t buy a horse without riding it, and look and ride more than one... most people aren’t trainers and can’t afford one...
Thanks Craig! I always pick up something new for my tool box when I watch your videos.
omg i love murphy he is just like my mare

Great program- one of the best things on youtube!
So cool.
I chose the perfect horse for myself and he's a far shot from any of the horse you're choosing from. He was a 6 year old who had never been successfully haltered when I got him.
Murphy’s coloring is so attractive.
Thanks for posting, Craig! Some great things to check out right there!
Murphy seems like a awesome horse.
Great information! I really love your videos!
I wish I'd watch this before I bought one that's suppose to be a trail horse.
I think Murphy's a really good horse and if I was you i would love him

This should be titled ‘choosing a quarter horse’!
Definitely Murphy!
Murphy is a fine horse!

Murphy is just like mine he should win
Murphy great horse...
Where is the first video? If they are in two parts it would be handy if labeled part 1 and part 2
Funny, my opinion may be 12 years too late. But I loved Murphy.
Where is this in full length?
Murphy seems lime a dynamite of a horse.
Murphy! Murphy! Murphy!
Murphy for sure
My pick would be Murphy
well done!
Murphy is a lot smaller than my horse by height my horse is 15.2 and my horse is a big paint a he is a great horse.
But like Craig said Murphy is still a good horse.
Are they all quarter horses?

Why didn't he pick Izzy?(I only watched this video and not the one where he rode Izzy)Could someone please reply:-)
Murphy is gorgeous
Yes beautiful horse.
Wish I was a gambler and placed some $$ on Murphy because my first impulse was to choose him. Don't know why. Just my intuition.
my names Izzy just wanted to put that out there
Murphey!!
I want Murphy to win
Murphy for me to
I wish my horses didn’t die
I like T Bird after you've worked with him for 30 days lol
Deffo Murphy.
I don't chose a horse. I let the horse to chose me.
What breed is Murphy
Tough. Seems like what he's doing is working.
I want cowboy
What breed is Murphy please?
Probably quarter horse.
Looks like Murphy might have a eye sight problem
Murphy

Murphy #1 Izzy #2
U don't have to keep the horse pulled in or " on the bit" as in english riding and western I've been riding since i was 2.
How do you ride Western? It looks harder than English riding.
The Prancing Pony very different a lot of leg
Alyssa Parham you use legs in English too
Sugar ASS I know but we rely on our legs much more
Murphy was the obvious choice
I like the first one you rode awsome horse. I have a question I weight 250 pounds and 5 feet and 7 tall I don't want a big horse that is too big to get on and off without any help what is the best horse for me is on the weight and height side???????

Craig less talk and and more show.
I buy arabians breeding stock so I don't care at all if they have even been started.
Why don't you horseman ride bit less? I truly don't understand it, since it's obvious you know horses, why cause unnecessary pain?
You felt the need to make it personal, calling me retarded. How childish! I was making a simple observation, it wasn't personal. Get over yourself
Murphy
What breed of horse is Murphy?
I would guess by his conformation and disposition, he is a Quarter Horse.
Murphy
