Interesting work of Schoenberg, created in his late phase and including a lot of tonal idioms and gestures from the late 19. century. It's completely forgotten and no current conductor is interested in performing it. Swarowsky is a good but not first-class conductor, orchestra and chorus are ok, the narrator is horrible, his pronunciation is absolutely inappropriate.
