Thats amazing! What a great drive around the lake...it looked amazing! And the hike must have been so tiring but worth it for the views! Glad this leg seemed a bit smoother!
Excellent video and love your low-key approach to travel. Brings back the memories of my wife and overlanding North America in a very similar way a quarter century ago. Had a ‘74 Series III 109” with the same roof rack and a wooden platform on it we could pitch a tent on. Aloha from Hawaii
What a awesome track to drive there along the shore line of that lake . Loved when you said yak was already a work of art , landys are the most adventure looking rig’s in adventure magazines and adventure photos as works of art . Great video again you two . Cheers from Steve Stott in Sutherlin Oregon :) :) 🌎👍🏼😁🍻🎄
Great video guys! I knew that track was the same as Nick & Mathilde did. I am looking forward to doing that next year! Safe travels and god luck to you and Yak!
Nice I'm 350 miles from that Chile border too , look out for a red VW campervan with UK plates at the end , I'll be there on Christmas eve , hopefully see you then ..Andy
@ yeah we did see it in a lot of national parks, definitely El Chalten and Torres Del Paine. We met a couple who had to go on hikes separately. Easy enough with border crossings we think though
You’re very welcome! If you mean our sat nav, we use a mixture of maps.me, Google maps and Gaia Maps. If you mean my running watch it’s the Garmin Forerunner 265 😊
Is that the track The Next Meridian guys did a year ago ? I tried a water crossing like that in my 300tdi, and didn’t realise there was a split in my intake hose. It bent 3 out of 4 of my con rods 😢
It is! When we saw their video we knew we had to do it! Oh no! Did you get it back up and running? Yeah I checked our intake pipes throughly to make sure we didn’t suck any water up!
Hooray for Yakety Yak, all mended from last week's drama and crushing those water crossings!
Have fun guys!
Absolutely epic. Can’t wait to see the adventures over the next year!
Thanks 🙌 excited to share as much as we can 😊

Hope the journey is going smoothly! Might see you on the road!
As usual, pretty nice video, plenty of awesome views. How cool you made it to the end of the world. Next destination?
Thanks so much :) we’re heading north to the altiplano next, very excited!
Ticking off the biggies there, furthest south, Fitzroy and that track round the lake + sunken causeway 4x4 track.
Was an epic couple of weeks!
Just noticed the ‘No dogs’ signs - is that standard operating procedure at these parks? I have my dog with me next year 🤞🏻🦮

Awesome video, hopefully you get to feel better, I reckon you must make a good chicken and veggies soup and you will be good as new

@ I bought another engine and had it swapped over. Now it has an electrical issue that no one can diagnose 🥺
