The sharks generally don't have any interest in humans, as we don't taste all to great. While we're at the seafloor in this video, we are wearing dark wetsuits/hoods, and don't come off as prey. Most shark attacks occur at the surface, or in shallow water. While lingering at the surface, we appear to be a wounded animal if we're splashing and kicking around and that sparks the sharks curiosity. If we are standing in waist deep water and there is a shark close to shore, our legs may appear to look like fish and the shark could take a nibble thinking it's food. The unfortunate thing is that those nibbles can often be life threatening. Sharks only see in black/white, white is usually associated with food, black is neutral and they tend to ignore it. Thanks for watching!
Are tgese sharks not hungry? How do they not attack?
