the reason why knight spam exist is because they are one of the most cost efficient unit in the entire game. they are cheap and get the job done. if someone knight spam you get some wizards and crossbowers and you're good

this video is pretty funny bruh lol. also really accurate
though the knight spam isn't a new player thing since it's actually the best strategy in the game rn. if you just buy a bunch of knights you can run really fast and destroy a lot of buildings and kill people's castles very quickly while only spending a little amount of money. it does have its weaknesses though like cavalry, ranged unit spam, and aoe units
