Awesome video. Its also great to spread out the fertility and protect calves from being crushed by cows at a bale ring.

I have seen Greg Judy, after unrolling the bale, further distributing the hay, by hand with rakes or forks, spreading it out in much wider swaths to cover more area. Have you tried that? I have seen a very small tedder that can be pulled behind that gator, which would also do that job. I really like this manner of feeding. Great explaination and video!

I would like to have one of these to use when it gets muddy but they are just too high. I unroll now with a tractor and have for several years.

Been farming for 45 years.........I didnt know the land was sore or sick ??? Im still getting 250 bushels per acre corn and grazing 50 milk cows on 60 acres......on a total of 150 acres. Its very profitable for me !

It just dawned on me.... thats why Greg Judy has nothing good to say about " balage " hay. His bale unroller would never work.
Cocklebur ? Why not just clip them ? Works great for them and most other week issues

From my understanding clipping on its own don't always get rid of them.
