Was on tour with Rachel, and she is the epitome of a professional. Never heard her sing a sour note, and truly dedicated to the craft. And an amazing and kind person to boot. Can’t wait to see you play Carlotta on bway 😘😘
I just saw the Phantom of the Opera for the first time yesterday and was very glad to see you as Carlotta! You slayed it the moment you stepped on stage 🙌🏻🙌🏻
So would you just go through a song or note to see if you can do it that day? and then again so you know you don’t mess up? Like, earlier when you’re at home, then at the theatre, then before a scene? is that right..? I’m kinda scared of warm-ups because I feel like I’m not doing it right and I’ll mess up, so I’m kinda nervous writing this.
• Purple Panda Playz • Hi there, yes, I usually check the notes to make sure the few tricky things are ready to go for the night but without singing the full songs. Before that I like to do a few key warm ups that will help gently warm the voice up but not tire it out. I love lip trills a lot for those initial warm ups. Warms essentially serve the purpose of reminding us of our technique. ☺️

Jay In Thank you so much! It was fun to jump on for that performance! ☺️💜🤘🏻
Wish I had seen this when I was Carlotta in my community theatre production a few years back.
This woman is wonderful
Carlotta Giudicelli hello
