Personally, I understand the concerns about the 46 chromosomes, but I don't think that is a clear question. Given that plants lack a fixed diploid number, determining the number of chromosomes in a typical plant cell is challenging, leading me to accept any number. During my higher education, I received guidance to use 20 chromosomes when in doubt. However, the CSEC textbook only mentions 46 chromosomes, prompting me to choose 46. This choice stems from my assumption that the syllabus aims to test your knowledge, as it would be impossible to determine the amount of chromosome in a plant's parent cell without specific plant knowledge.
This is the easiest Biology paper i have ever done. I got 80% on my labs and i did really well on this exam so if do good on paper 1 there is a possibility i can get a distinction 🎉. Thank God 🙏🏾
Sir, if you misplaced it and put the motor and sensory neuron in the opposite labelling , for the diagram but the other two are correct, would they give 3/4?? … I didn’t even realize I should’ve switched them😭, well I learnt my lesson stillz
And also for the boiled potato I put that because it is already boiled water gradient is already in the potato so it would burst and become flaccid is that Ohk ?
Will i still get marks, i put for phenotype, male and female with black hair, soxX^b and for genktype i put C to represent colourbkind, do i still get the marks. For the second question i write out the things, do i still mark
Sir wouldnt a boiled potati akready contain water from the boiling so i dont think it will absorb water so i put how the water level in the petri dish will remain unchanged and the salt would not dissolve then i put a thing saying boil potatoes are disintegrated
@@Pureknowledge101PK I really thought the boiled potato would be flaccid and I misunderstood the question about # chromosomes I put 4 pairs 😥 and also the knee reflex I got two of the labels wrong
@@user-gp1qw9hv8b ok understand dont worry you are still on track for the one......Boiled potato would less turgid than in the raw.. so if u said more flaccid than the raw potato you can get a mark. depends how you word it. For the chromosome ok but remember Mitosis is 2n diploid.
@@_kopol13 thats why you are saying that. C is the parent cell because in diagram C chromosome exists as long strand called chromatins this would be Interphase, In cell B the parent cell already started to replicate this would be Prophase.
Thats what I thought but I wasnt thinking right cuz I said the daughter cells hv the same #chromosomes as parent so it has to be 4 @@Pureknowledge101PK
The salt is place on top the potato where U looking section is. The salt will attract the water molecule from the petri dish to where the salt molecules are so therefore water will move inside the potato to neutralize the salt molecules making the potato turgid.

Fail wid walking colors
I am sure you did not. Where did feel you went wrong?
Everywhere 😂
@@SLEEPINGWILLOW835 ok don't give up subscribe to the channel and lets work on paper 1 together
😂😂😂😂
@@SLEEPINGWILLOW835 Same😭
Well this is another distinction in the books
Lets pry for it

ahhh tough....I think it would be two marks buts lets see ....Lets get paper 1
ahhh tough....I think it would be two marks buts lets see ....Lets get paper 1
I passeddddddddd🎉🎉🎉🎉 thank God🙌🏾. Thanks sir🙏🏾
You are welcome. Lets get paper 1
And also for the boiled potato I put that because it is already boiled water gradient is already in the potato so it would burst and become flaccid is that Ohk ?
Not sure It would become flaccid thou. It would not change.
I did very well
Excellent 👌
If i put the xylem vessel is hallow and the explanation is for transpiration to occur will I get the mark?
That could be accepted
Sir so if for the birth control methods you list (natural ,surgical ,mechanical and chemical) would I still get marks ?
You should be fine with those answers
I got 44 out of 60 on P1, did i fail?
Will i still get marks, i put for phenotype, male and female with black hair, soxX^b and for genktype i put C to represent colourbkind, do i still get the marks. For the second question i write out the things, do i still mark
Which question is that?
@@Pureknowledge101PK The gene one, genotype , phenotype
Mastery
sounds great. lets get paper 1
Sir for the genetic variation question i put sexual reproduction and adaption, will i still be able to get the two marks?
Depends on how the markers view "Adaption" because adoption can be because of Mutation
The boiled potato thing caught me off guard asf!!!!
hush its a learning process. Follow us for paper 1 preparation
Paper 1 Deven mek sense. Beer new ?
Hi for the table d I put osmosis for my reason and not process will I loose marks?
What did you put in the other table?
@@Pureknowledge101PK I put osmosis in the explanation box and the explanation in the process box.
Sir wouldnt a boiled potati akready contain water from the boiling so i dont think it will absorb water so i put how the water level in the petri dish will remain unchanged and the salt would not dissolve then i put a thing saying boil potatoes are disintegrated
That answer is fine. A boiled potato wouldn't absorb much if any water because the cells would have died from the Boling. Your answer is fine.
@@Pureknowledge101PK It would not absorb it all! The entire experiment with boiled potato will remain relatively unchanged!
@@kimmiroberts7336 I can agree with that. That could be a possible observation
Oh no
what's wrong?
Its just that I was suprised to see this approximately 93/100
@@user-gp1qw9hv8b where did you think you made an error?

Sir can u please check over 6.c
What is the answer you got?
When u add the 330000 to the 13000 u would get 343000 so the final answer I got was 35.9
@@NB-ROM Then your suppose to minus the 6000 who died from the population to get 337000. sorry if omitted that part
Oh ok sir

I did really good.... wow.

Sir how is it 46 chromosomes???
Has to be 4
@@_kopol13 which cell in the diagram is the parent cell?

Am I not identifying correctly sir?

6 questions x 15marks

Sir question how much marks you got to get on the biology paper 2 i got 52 /60 for paper 1 i want a grade one ...
And like a 80 or 79 % for paper 2
Sir dont get it the raw potato in the crystal water wouldn't it lose water and in the water it would become turgid
Sir stated that when the potato Is in the salt water it will become flaccid after 2 hrs ....I guess I misunderstood the question
The salt is place on top the potato where U looking section is. The salt will attract the water molecule from the petri dish to where the salt molecules are so therefore water will move inside the potato to neutralize the salt molecules making the potato turgid.
But wouldnt the salt pull the water out the potato
