Sooo helpful, especially when you initially slow down the line. This informs me of the improving my triad inversions knowledge, it also tells me to work on ear training so that when an interval jump is made, i have a sense of its tonality. Only two guitarists in my 33 yrs of playing, that I could just listen to them play full on electric guitar outside of the band element are Carl V and Eric J. That's it man! They're both the equivalent of listening to one of Bach's beautiful violin sonatas.
