Hi. Mr. Greg. I'm playing bass in South Korea, and I'm practicing often watching your videos. May I ask if you do not like this song? [Free - Mr. big]. I am sorry that I have not written well through the Google Translator. I always enjoy watching your videos and lessons. Thank you.
Hi SG! Thank you for your request. I understand you perfectly ;) As for your request, I wish could fulfill it, but Billy Sheehan is one of those players with a technique I can't replicate...
@@BassCovers I think we have a little misunderstanding. This is not Billy Sheehan's song. It's another song. ua-cam.com/video/Azkef2lXW88/v-deo.html The bass solo is amazing.
@@BassCovers I'll send you another version. The studio version sounds more vivid. Solo will start after 3 minutes. ua-cam.com/video/Ai-4zRRnD4k/v-deo.html
Hi Derek, thanks for trying Muzento. You signed up with an intermediate Lesson Plan. This song is an "Advanced" song. You have to tune down 120 cents, that's why its weird. Songs in (flattish) G but you play it in A. The legend goes that the recording engineer detuned it manually(finger drag on the capstan) to accomodate the singer. Greg figured it out(the 120 cent part), check out his lesson. Peace.

Hi SG. My apologies, I did misunderstand. I saw "Mr. Big" and thought you were referring to the band. I checked out the link...I missed the bass solo?

Is this standard tuning? EADG?
No it's not. This is written in the video description - *Tune down 120 cents to match the recording (half step + 20 cents lower)
@ Is 20 cents down the same thing as down a half step?
100 cents = a half step
what's the tuning?
E flat - tune down one step

Thank you for asking this. Weird it wasn't specified (unless I missed it somewhere)
My dad always ask why I won't play normal guitar cause he has a bunch of em I wanna learn. Bass it sounds so good
hehe...I agree with you ;)

for sure!
Awoke job, you’re rushing.
I can accept your opinion that you think I'm rushing. The "awoke job" comment just means you're a jerk (to say it nicely)!
