I love these reviews. I had a girlfriend a long time ago who was obsessed with the wild things and Maurice Sandak. This is really a great review, I really enjoyed it, and because of you I am going to spend two hours of my life watching this movie, because I never saw it and it looks amazing, and I love all of the actors in it. It doesn’t sound like a child’s movie, but I look forward to seeing it, and thanks so much for sharing this. All of these reviews are really so good.
Oh, man, thank you for that. I do hope you enjoy the movie. It's kind of an odd duck, but I gravitate to movies sometimes that are their own thing. Sometimes they're the ones with singular moments that cut to the heart of things like no others, even if they're flawed. And speaking of movies I've still got to watch your new film, I just need the time. My kid is out of school now for a few days with the holiday, so things get tight around here. But I'm excited for it, because I know you know how to cut to the heart of things too. Just based on your other work I've seen. So congrats on the release! And I'll catch it asap. Cheers!
@ thanks so much. It’s definitely a film that requires attention, it’s not exactly a shoot em up blockbuster. :-) More like Roma. :-) Coda. Also, I don’t know if you know, but I have another feature here on UA-cam that actually comes before this film as part of a trilogy. It’s called the center of distance. I shot that one on my phone during the pandemic, and it really is something I’m very proud of. It might make sense to watch that one first because it will put this new one in its proper context for you. But having said that, they both stand on their own pretty well I think. Anyway, I really do enjoy your channel, even though I don’t have kids and I’m not interested in kids films, but I think a lot of the stuff that you talk about is not simply for kids. Having said that, enjoy your children at home, and my movies will be there whenever you feel like you have the time and space to receive them.

@@RockWILK Will do, man. I did see The Center of Distance a while back, so I'm primed and ready for this one. Cheers!
