To be quite honest … Gobi desert must be unique and beautiful in its own way … it does seem their tourism is pretty backward in general … no wonder there didn’t seem to be much business or activities in the area … assuming prices there are fairly high as you stated $3000/room .. yet it’s probably not profitable .. the venture might not be sustainable if the vacancy loss will continue .. food and room quality doesn’t seem to add up with what they’re charging .. they’ve got a long long way to go .. The two of you though .. might as well enjoy whatever culture and scenery they have to offer .. have a splendid time
I do agree with you that Mongolia is not quite advanced in tourism yet if one is a nature enthusiast looking for raw and real wilderness, it’s definitely a wonderful trip to experience the nomadic way of life. As for the hotel itself, the expenses of operation must be super high, given that it’s on its own in the middle of Gobi desert, I do think $3000 per room is a fair price, including the minimalist furnish and fresh fruit/veggies morning+dinner buffet

價錢從來都唔係佢地嘅問題...🙊下次搭直升機去啦😆
好多地方一世人一定要去一次，同時去一次就夠😂
但睇到流星同星星，享受吓唔係城市既生活，都係唔錯😊
同係一樽水沙漠買同喺7仔買有唔同價值，價值就是你願意給的！
