McDavid is insanely good, not just the best player on the team but the best player in the league. He's on pace to get 150 points this season which hasn't been done since the mid 90s. Great video man.
He's the only player in my adult life who can comfortably be talked about in the same league of 99 himself, the Great One.
What the number 2 goal in this selection so spectacular was the fact that it was Connor's first game back since his injury, absolutely nobody expected this, I lost my beer that night but it was worth it lol.
I love videos like these from fans of other sports. Keep bringing more awareness to the beauty, speed and physicality of hockey. Not many sports in the world require slow motion just to see what the hell just happened.
We Were Blessed With Wayne & We're Fortunate Enough To Have Connor Now!
Cheers From Edmonton (Oil Country)
The funny thing is that every night he does something amazing that this package of highlights is already outdated lol
Great reaction! Good observations
I agree, im bored with this 10 highlight reel. He's done so much i think it would be better to react to a season of goals but only 1 showing per goal.
I’ve watched hockey for 40 years; McDavid is better with the puck than any other player ever. He can stick handle quickly while skating, he can turn quicker than anyone, and he can elevate the puck when in tight with the goalie.
One thing people don’t realize, is just how fucking hard it is to deftly direct a frozen 1lb puck of vulcanized rubber while moving 28 km’s toward 5 6ft-something defenders who could literally kill you if your head is down. It’s art in its purest form.
He’s the most evolved hockey player ever and it’s not even close. He will probably go down as the best player ever
Best player in the world. Our McJesus 💙🧡 We watch him every night he plays and we are still amazed by him because of his versatility even after years of him being with oilers! Just gold!
5:20 I wanted to point out that hockey is played 5v5 (excluding 3v3 overtime) with three forwards and two defensemen (the goalie is the "silent" sixth man)
Also, a few other comments mentioned McDavid's points total this season... Points are both assists and goals so currently he has 109 pts (if you think that's crazy, Wayne Gretzky had 215 pts during the '85-'86 season 😱)
The crazy thing is this isn't adult rec league stuff. This is against elite pro players who are allowed to body check him when he has the puck. Easier said than done. 'Just check Gretzky' they said too. Ya, lace 'em up and see how that fares.
I'm not a hockey fan but any chance I get to be at a NHL game I take it.
It hits different.
@ 4:50 that was the hockey equivalent of breaking ankles
He's already got 100 points this season, and is well on his way to scoring 50 or even 60 goals.
No other player would even see an opportunity in half of these clips, they would never even think to try
Great reaction my guy🔥 mcdavid is the most skilled to ever play the game so far 😅
He is on another level!
Watch Leon Draisaitl… that’s his teammate the 2nd best player in the NHL behind Mcdavid
You and Asia need to watch Miracle on your reelin channel.
Amazing movie and a true story.
I love your enthusiasm! Please keep the NHL videos coming. I think you’d like learning about some of the greatest rivalries in hockey as well as it’s greatest goals, saves, etc.
Simply The Best Player to EVER play the game......Ken from CALGARY
McDavid is a human cheat code. You could make an hour long video of ridiculous stuff he does. He is top player in the NHL
to "be box office" is such a fucking great way to put it. That could totally be a new "thing".
The enthusiasm on that last goal has a lot to do with it tying the game with only 3 minutes left. Amazing goal and about as clutch as you can get.
McDavid is the closest thing to Gretzky in 20 yrs. But he does it faster!
Great Reaction Video, I enjoyed your time and candor.
He is amazing. He's so fast he makes all the other players look like they are children. The puck control...amazing. And he's only 26!
He's not only the best player on his team, he's the best player in the league. Currently he has the most points in the league. The next guy is about 20 points behind him. He leads in Goals and Assists also. It's a shame he's on a garbage team every year. He recently asked not to be a part of the fastest skater competition during the all star game. He wins every year. He's a generational player. When you compared it to basketball, imagine doing it on skates, with a stick and the ball is flat, frozen, and 3" big.
You can't keep the puck away from him if you can't catch him.
Conner McDavid is the best hockey player on the planet. He is so much fun to watch. Insanely talented. The Edmonton Oiler fans are lucky to have him on their team (just like they were lucky to have the last greatest player, Wayne Gretzky, on their team). Peace, Calvin.
Love your video! Connor is known as the best hockey player in the world!! Good o'le Canadian boy.
The sportscasters from different tv networks calls the Oiler games "The Connor McDavid Show". React to the Oilers/Calgary 2021-2022 2nd round Stanley Cup Playoff games. You'll enjoy each games and typically called the Battle of Alberta. Hint, Edmonton typically wins.
Hockey is the most exciting sport out there. Wish I could still watch it.
In hockey we call that a spin e rama
Hes the best player in the world
Jedi level unlocked
Connor McDavid has the best & Highest IQ in Hockey in the last 30 years !!!!!!!!
He's also the Youngest Captain in Edmonton Oilers History.
There is no reason for you to rewind, there are multiple replays
Dear Asia and BJ. More hockey content please.
Ya he best player on oilers for sure. And he quickly, AND I mean QUICKLY setting himself up to be a Top 5 hockey player ever to ever play the great game
I cant even do that in the videogames.
Two other great players to consider: Mario Lemieux and Sidney Crosby. Legends.
Check out Crosby. His generation’s mcdavid
He's actually the best player in the world right now, without question, and in the top 5 of all time.
He's simply the best in the world period not even close
NBA comparison McDavid would be Kobe/Magic,(speed, flow and finish) Ovechkin would be Lebron/Wilt (Brute strength with massive skill) and The "Great One" would be Jordan/Bird ( Results/Stats/Face of the Game/Not Elite Athletics body type)
Don't know how I missed this one! But dang Oilers just lost game 1, we'll see if they bounce back
watching people trying to defend mcdavid is like watching children trying to wrestle their dads.
Bj look at his house plus how he is very Canadian, he is so Canadian lol ,, get Asia to watch his house open door , he does say what does 50 million buy you , lol
He’s not just the best on the oilers best in the world bud
Best player on the team? My friend, he's the best player on the planet
Just commenting to help spread 97 propaganda so the world can really see how next level this guy actually is. This year he found another gear and there's not enough superlatives to say what he's been doing. Get ready for the reels.
There are so many players who were/are great but will not ever be on a championship team. McDavid may end up being one of those through no fault on his own. Bad management and for current season terrible goaltending. I wonder if anyone has ever done a post on the best NHL players who never won a Stanley Cup
people who think hockey is not that hard to play.. so please.. take your hockey stick go outside and play with a tennis ball... and think again !!
Remember folks the 2nd best player in the League is his teamate, Leon Draisaitl
as it stands, most skilled player in NHL history. get him a couple cups and he is #3 behind 66 and 99 all time, and that's nothing to scoff at. he scores at an 80s hockey pace on the regular. if he played back then he'd put up 300 pts a season lol
I have the honour of watching Connor every night here in Edmonton from my season seats..he’s unreal✌🏻🔥
Same 😂
How was the view of the Nuge putting a beating on Holl?
Lucky... I'm on Vancouver Island so I have the honour of watching on Sportsnet lol
Can you adopt me and take me to games?
@@scottkitchingman9884 lol yes... Adopt me and fly me in to watch the Oilers
