Chongqing is such an amazing city it makes my heart ache. Honestly, it's probably the coolest city I've ever visited. Feels so cyberpunk, like out of Blade Runner.
Makes two of us. I was there for the summer of 2008. Been to Beijing, Chengdu, Guangzhou, Lanzhou, Hong Kong, Germany, Netherlands, through out the states, Mexico, Japan, Singapore, lived and worked in Bangkok and Saigon. None of these places can compare to the overwhelming overload of Chongqing , just something in its own league. Truly the most amazing city
I would say Florence and Venice are much better than CQ, if you come to CQ, you might be disappointed, pls lower your expectations, and I recommend you to visit Beijing or Shanghai if this is your first time to visit China.

The roads in Chongqing are the most exciting roads in China. A new 300-meter-long wavy road has been built in the Banan area to facilitate the movement of residents of the four-story buildings on both sides of the road. I planned to visit chongqing in 2018 but i couldn’t speak Chinese and was alone so I didn’t visit,later I learned Chinese but due to Covid-19 couldn’t travel, next year i will explore beautiful chongqing
I visited this city 3 years ago and my jaws just dropped..especially the nightlife..it really takes you into the 10,20,50 years into the future..the only downside of this city is the traffic..too many people on the roads.and too many cars..it needs to be fixed so that the traffic can flow better..China is way more advanced then any western countries like Australia where I’m living now..
