Important note for Vorkath's acid spitball phase. You have to walk, not run, while you keep moving around. I made the mistake of running while I fought him during the quest and got absolutely rocked
So far I've done Vorkath and Muspah in their respective quests. As a newer guy to pvm I have to say that Muspah felt way easier to fight! I am training right now to attempt post quest versions and Zulrah so we'll see if it changes over time!
Great video, very informative for med-lvl players! Looking forward to the higher-tiered content -- love your style of video, it's no-nonsense but very informative. I like woodcutting.
@@Bogeymania I was on mobile at that time 2018, and I got it down. Few tries about 5-7 deaths. There’s a mechanic to it once I see that mechanic, it’s eZ game. Glgl also don’t be afraid to die learning mechanics cause it’ll pay off at the end
Im 82 hp, 82 range, 86 mage, ~75-80 all melee, 98 cb. So far vorkath is not an issue once you get the acid pool mechanic right, and i can make 2 kill/trip cuz my gear sucks (barrows/blessed dhide + dcb). Downside is if you mess up its 100k fee to get gear back. Muspah so far i have 0kc, went there a couple times with same gear and my dps was not high enough so run out of supplies right at the end a couple times, good thing is if you die the fee is lower (like 12k at gravestone on barrows gear), totally forgot about the mage switch so im gonna try that next xd, should be enough to get the dps in this time. Havent tried zulrah yet, will do soon. Ty for the vid
I made the mistake of trying to grind out vorkath with 85 range and a blowpipe/dcb. IMO 3:30-4:30 kills aren't worth it. just come back when you have either mid 90s ranged or when you have a dhcb. much better for the long term efficiency of your account. for a cheaper entry level to vorkath i'd get either a dragon hunter lance or a fang and you can get 4+ kill trips with budget gear and decent melee stats. tldr: don't boss with low levels and bad gear because the wiki says its 2m an hour (its not)
With my trusty RCB I often got kills over 7 minutes long lol. I dipped after getting the assembler though. I might come back after getting closer to 90 melees. I don’t have a fang so I’d have to to make some money for something like that
Muspah range only is hella fun if you have at least a bofa and full crystal, tbow would make it so much nicer but i still average like 3 min muspah kills, much more enjoyable content for me personally than vork or zulrah, highly recommend to all those still preferring vorkath that you give money slug a real honest try because it absolutely can make you stupid rich
you should make one on consistent GP from bossing on bosses you can do with types besides ranged.. ranged is boring but it seem like what everyone uses most for bosses.
range is just so busted you use it almost every where. I think melee vorkath is quite good money I just used a range example in this video because the gear setup was cheaper!
Melee vorkath is my preference tbh, kills feel more consistent plus I find a 4t weapon much easier to woox walk acid phase. That being said, you definitely should look to round out stats and train all combat styles as all are useful and needed at end game content! Good luck have fun on the grind!
I usually prioritize easy of pvm, for muspah I use ancients with a shadow so no thralls. But Corruption with thralls is not bad at all, just a bit more clicking then the freeze method
I’ve tried what you mentioned doing vorkath. Base 80s average time maybe 4min kill leading to approximate 10 kills an hour. This is about 1.1 mil in drops the supplies are pretty high though. 300-400k if melee and higher if ranged. I’m not really messing up much maybe taking about 30 avoidable dmg per kill but that’s only 15k in food the whole hour. Seems odd to me that this is the famous money maker. I have hasta or dragon crossbow and rigour. I know it’s obvious easier with dhcb or lance but those are 70 and 40 mil respectively people with Tbows/Shadows already know how to make money. I find it hard to believe people are running 1000 vorkath in order to afford a lance. Am I missing something? If I am supposed to have higher combat stats, why even mention quest requirements I was barely in the 70s when I finished all the quests. Maybe I’m missing something. I’ve tried Zulrah but that boss is quite more difficult. However I just managed to sell a bunch of stuff and buy a fang…maybe that’ll make the difference?
For me the fang is a massive difference maker. Couple that with the defensive bonuses from my offhand (dragonfire shield) plus the fact it negates all damage from dragonfire while extended super anti dragon fire potted and praying mage, it allows for much more comfortable 2 kill trips for me (sometimes 5+ if I get good rng and am on point with my woox walks). I’d personally recommend something like sepulchre, gauntlet, or thieving elves or sth just to get fang and DFS money for vorkath, genuinely a massive difference maker for me. Zulrah is harder to learn that vorkath imo, when new to bossing switching gear/overheads, and memorizing 4 rotations (especially if trying to look between the wiki and the game) it’s just too much to start off. I’d come back there later if you’d like to learn it imo cause it’s a pain to learn. Regardless, gl, hope the fang makes things better :).
nice video but i must say my brain refuses to grasp this level of complexity ..best i can survive is rune dragons/brutal dragons/kraken any other you can recommend based on what i mentioned for fast money ? or in other words can you make a vid that grades many monsters by complexity like you did with those bosses ? thanks .
fast money is hard to come by, it really scales with complexity of the monster - for low effort pvm you are hitting all the good ones, brutal black dragons are awesome for afk money, wyverns might still hold up but I'm not too sure, I would assume rune dragons are good as well if you are in full justiciar dfs + lance
yeah with justiciar +dfs 1 gets hit less than with bandos + lance makes around 1.5 mil/h ... brutals 1.1 mil/h without TBOW wyverns i guess could give a mill with all maxed ..infernal cape is surely out of the reach of ppl like me... wish they would create more monsters that gives 1.5 mil an hour ...
I have never been able to get the hang of a Zulrah kill. The plugin the web pages showing rotations are not at all helpful for me. Vorkath was easy to learn and is so much more consistent than Zulrah.
Depends on your gear and skills. Im new to pvm as well and not wealthy but have done vorkath ~20 times. My combats stats are mid 70s as well so you can definitely do it, but expect to die a few times while learning
With base 70 combats you can do the low level bosses like barrows no problem, maybe even group gwd but you'll be considered a carry tbr. Once you get into the base 80s pm starts opening up, especially with groups, and with some skill and time investment you could even start running low invocation tombs of amascut (~150s). Good luck and happy hunting
Idk why but im utter shit at muspah. I can kite zilly around all day long and be fine, but i cant kite muspah to save my life. Ive got like 2 or 3 kc post quest, and had to tele out probably 15-20 times. Makes me so mad idk what im doing wrong lmao
Running the octagon can be super wonky especially with the random spike placement sometimes, I personally like to just bring ancients and freeze on the melee phase makes it much more chill
I unlocked all of these bosses thinking that I would make good money with my welfare gear and stats. 80 combats and RCB. Did not work well. Probably made 700k an hour at vorkath with the RCB and salve ammy. The ruby bolts don’t proc often and I’ve had many kills where they never proc and it takes way too long. I feel like zulrah might actually be the best with a low tier setup but I found zulrah far more challenging, I died so fast compared to the other two. Maybe the quest fight helped me ease into the other fights better idk

Muspah has less mechanics but you can fuck yourself over pretty easy at the end if you aren’t careful. Personally I go woth vorkath
Muspah gets noticeably harder post quest, more so than the difference between vork pre and post quest

Do you really think you need base 80’s for vorkath?
you can totally do it with lower stats, but always with anything combat related higher stats are always recommended
Nice!

zulrah is super easy with prayer flick on the jad-phase and with the help of the runelite plugin
"I like woodcutting" Literally 6 yr old me back in 2001 lmao
Yeah use a crossbow with ruby bolts then switch to diamond bolts below 400 health on vork the blowpipe kinda sucks
Idk about you but those kills where ruby bolts never proc take an unreasonably long amount of time at with Hawkeyes and 80 ranged.
Made a few attempts at zulrah lately. I’ve found out it’s significantly harder than vorkath.
I think for vorkath fang is WAY superior than blowpipe, more dps, you take less damage because of your gear and the woox walk is more chill.
100% should melee if you can, blowpipe is just omega budget setup (less than 5m)
