I've let my health go to hell over the last 10 years or so and it's gotten to the point where, if I don't change, it's been getting scary. I've always been able to make excuses to not push myself to make the changes I need to. Excuse after excuse to just keep letting things get worse and hating myself for that. Broken promises to myself to get better for myself and my family. I heard this song and it was what actually got me to push through the bullshit in my head, quit making excuses and breaking promises, and actually put in the work to make change and get better.
