why do you not spread the gravel. you can weld chains on the dump trucks back tale gate and spread the gravel with much less work for the bull doser or the grader. ? thanks

Would have been better for the grader operator if you would have the gate with chains you set for how much the depth is while you drive forward as you dump in a straight line.

The only problem with the longer trailer dump beds is they are unstable at higher dump angles and cause the truck tip over.

You better have a quarry with a crusher-gravel plant nearby if you're going to be doing this.

Notice no lift pegs on the sides of the road to gauge accurately depth of gravel and also consistent width through the job. Or do you just eye ball it and say good enough. Also just allowing people to drive through your job while your spreading with the grader is asking for someone to get seriously hurt.
