In this episode, we have a relaxing day at sea. We start our day off at the 6th Street diner, before trying a Roast Dinner Wrap. We then spend a couple of hours in the spa area, this costs £39pp for 2 hours. After this, we head for a couples massage before getting ready for dinner.
AS it is Gala night on P&O Arvia, we dress in our tuxedos and head to the Crows Nest. After watching a Pink tribute in the Sky Dome, we head to the Keel & Cow for a beautiful steak dinner.

We are bananas about cruising! We started cruising in 2014 by doing a mini cruise on P&O Aurora. Making videos of our cruises and sharing our experiences has become our hobby - the complete video is filmed and edited on an iPhone. The videos are our opinions and experiences while on board - really they are us having fun and brining you along with us!
We may not be the youngest cruisers but we are trying to break the stereotype that cruising is for retired people. On a cruise you will normally find us wondering around the ship taking in the atmosphere (and working our way through the cocktails).
We have sailed on P&O Cruises, Cunard Line, Princess Cruises, MSC Cruises, Royal Caribbean and Avalon Waterways. We'd love to try Ambassador Cruise Line, Norwegian Cruise Line (NCL), Fred Olsen, Holland America (HAL), Celebrity, Disney Cruises, Carnival Cruises, Costa, Aida, Marella and Celestyal.

Another great video, if you tie your lanyard to the your belt loop and keep the card in your pocket, if you drop it, it stays with you without wearing round your neck :)

Yes, lots of people don’t like the deck 8 balconies and conservatory suites. It’s those right on the front wed dislike most!

Massages are ALWAYS wonderful! Seems like they could include the thermal suite-but that looks great too. You two look QUITE posh in black tie! Will have to try a passion fruit martini sometime. Interesting to me that the theater seats are around the pool and the restaurant is open to the atrium, but I’ve never been on P&O. Love Pink, though! Think Gavin made the better dinner choice. We call that chicken-fried steak in America. That baked cheese and bread looked like a full meal!
Oh it would be nice if they included that, especially as part of a massage booking - Cunard used to! The passion star is lovely passion fruit, vodka and a shot of procecco!
The cheese was so good we did go back again later in the cruise - and that steak was so good! Getting hungry just thinking about it!

We've just come off Arvia, its a lovely ship, especially the fish and chip shop on Deck 8, couldn't stay away!

We were exactly the same as you guys. The second night we were so shattered we went back to the cabin for a snooze about 7pm ish then woke up at 5am. It was like someone had pressed the reset button as after that it was ‘fun times’ for the rest of the cruise. Also I’m glad you got to book the Piton cruise. We were on the catamaran then called off at the bar near the sign of St Lucia. That got a bit messy with the rum 😅😅
Yeah, it’s good to reset so you don’t end up tired all cruise! We didn’t get much time to explore St Lucia unfortunately but the cruise to the pitons trip was nice as we’ll show in a future Vlog :)

Another stellar vlog, guys! You two look awesome in your bow ties! Bow ties are cool...ok, that's just my nerd side showing.. Dr. Who...lol. It's great to see Gavin doing some of the talking. It's nice when you share that because we get to see and hear both of your thoughts on what's happening. Plus one person isn't stuck always holding the phone...lol. How many more vlogs will this series have?

Although I have never done an ocean cruise, I really enjoy your videos. I have noticed, however, that there must be a problem with your equipment. Every video has a section where your words appear to become slightly slurred 😂

We’re we’re not far off full capacity and the one after us was. It did seem to handle the crowds we’ll but the deck could be busy on sunny sea days. Yeah, we may have overdone it on steak 🤣

Can I ask your opinion on the pool area please? It seems quite small and crowded, with not many sun beds on this ship. It looks like the Britannia has a bigger pool area with more sun beds. Have you been on the Britannia? Thanks :)
Hello! Yes we’ve sailed on Britannia.
Comparing the two there are about 3-3.5k less passengers on Britannia so Arvia does get busy and crowded at times especially on hot sunny sea days.
However Arvia has 1 more pool a children’s only splash area and far more infinity plunge pools over Britannia.
The pool on Britannia is two sort of joined together.
We always managed to get into the pools if we wanted and nearly always found a spot at the swim up bar so we have no complaints there.

You pay per item. The cheese was around £8 and the mains from around the same price, think the full steak was around £12

Surely it doesn’t have to be a bow tie
You can wear a suit with a normal tie too.
You don’t have to dress up but you can only stay up at the pool deck mostly and eat at the buffet then.
