There are parts at the beginning of the song that reminds me of Breathe, but I think there's only like a few lines that sound similar but they end up differently than in Breathe. It's like a signature style or maybe more like a nod to their debut song
First off, thank God, Daehwi and the rest of the producing team who worked on this, cause it's a SONG and not NOISE! BLIND FOR LOVE is that rare gem that both looks good performance wise and is still a great listen! Daehwi's iconic "Blind for your Love" and Donghyun's perfect delivery of "saranghae..." Rap line is on fire as usual and Woong has really started flexing his beautiful and unique vocals!
Dude you can praise the song without insulting other idols' songs this year...Not only is "noise" a real type of music that doesn't fit most of what's being labeled as such, but all the songs are also good in their own right.
I really love this comeback and I'm so proud to see them do a freaking FULL ALBUM less than 6 months after debuting as AB6IX. Personally I think it doesn't quite hit that same catchy refrain that sticks like Breathe did but it's still a song I'd put on repeat for sure. I noticed some stylistic similarities to Breathe but this might be Daehwi's producing style more than anything. If anything this particular sound and style is just registering in my brain as AB6IX's sound (and it could also be because Daehwi and Woong have very very distinct vocal color when they sing so it adds to that)
Daehwi said it was like a continuation of breathe, which is why they sound similar. He also said you would get a hint of their music style in it, so yeah you weren't far off

I just realized that the one who caught my eye decided to leave the group bc he didn't want to bring negativity to the group, he has an excellent voice, as for what I saw, he dances incredibly too and he's considerate towards his members. AB6IX is amazing! Another great rookie group is VANNER, they debuted with a full album! Their comeback was 3 songs. So many amazing rookies this year!
