A super chapter on how UP expanded there empire from our movie "Union Pacific Scrapbook" www.cspmovies.com
Thank you for this video Union Pacific freight trains with a caboose and the Union Pacific commercial passenger trains before Amtrak
Thank you for this video Please make more videos with Union Pacific streamline passenger trains and Union Pacific freight trains with the caboose at the end of the freight train
Ok, robermoir we can dig out some more soon! We like the original UP. they were super interesting in many ways. Their passenger trains are beautiful!
7:13 looks like Haggin junction in Sacramento.
Tehachapi Loop. That's the same train passing over itself.
Were those DPU's on the Southern Pacific train headed eastbound around the 7:20 mark?
Those must have been manned helpers, because none of them were the 8300-series "snoot" units that had the remote control equipment.
Does Union Pacific still haul all of that lumber out of the northwest that Southern Pacific used to handle? And what happened to the SP "Oil Cans"?
👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍
