The Swedes are awesome at building all weather aircrafts in the Alaskan red-flag 2008 they where the only ones starting in all weathers and at "war is boring" you can read the Czech Gripen pilots own report from another red-flag in Italy where they among others did a kill at an EF. As a Brit my personal fav is the EF but I feel a bit sorry for the Swedes since they manufactured such a great aircrafts ever since WWII and never gets their true acknowledge they deserve!

By my calculations the aircraft was going at 2000 km/h then to return to base at 1000 km/h. so in one hour it has done a mission at 500 km from here, at about 250 km from Calabria's coast in Mediterranean sea. don't too distant, I could say! the courier did too late with anti-arcraft, what a pity! lol, :-D
Ha! Some Swede told me a while back that most bunkers aren't even really livable, er.. no electrical power. Thy just build em 'cause the law says so. he said he was going to turn his into a wine cellar.. :) So sad about the Grippen, it's beautiful, just like the Mirage 2000 ( still in use in Brazil ).

There are a bunch of comments about how The M 2000 is better than F-35 or the F-22 was beaten by such and such. Don't get me wrong about this, yes flying the best and most advanced fighter is a +. If you have a fair to good pilot flying the best equipment. And you have the best of the best pilot flying a fair to good fighter thats way less superior to the other on. I would put my money on the awesome pilot with a ok fighter that the other way around.

Le mirage 3 est le plus rapide grâce à ses deux moteurs fusée supplémentaires il a réussi à atteindre les vitesse proche de match 3 officiellement il était à 2,2 en réelle bien plus les chasseurs d'aujourd'hui sont moins rapides car c'est inutile les vitesses utilisées sont entre 0,9 et 1,2 matchs les vitesses supérieures sont utilisées rarement dans certaines situations très peu de temps le but est d'avoir un compromis entre vitesse et consommation de carburant les mirage 3 sont des légendes

I guess that fuel pod doesn't affect aerodynamics. As much as I hate Israel, I love what they have done with their Mirages aka the Kfir especially the TC2. With the longer nose and the modded tail wing, it just looks bad ass.
Pity France didn't build the Mirage 4000 ! These would have been awful Nuclear beasts . The 2000N just replaced the old Mirage IV in the nuclear deterrent role ! Mirage IV was just an old plane , but as good as new.

could not agree more coronado326... stealth v non stealth fighter combat is closer to murder than ACM, as the non-stealth (mirage 2000) will most likely never see who kills him. not to say anyone is invincible (american slang "even a blind squirrel finds a nut sometimes") but the overwhelming odds favor the stealth. how about we meet in the middle and agree that both aircraft (flown by their countries trained pilots) would CRUSH anything coming out of former ussr and current communist china.
