Thoughts on plastic vs. aluminum spool?

Thank you! I prefer plastic. The aluminum spools I've used were very heavy and ended up developing sharp edges which I wasn't a fan of. There may be better metal spools out there I haven't used but plastic does the job well.

Metal spools sink like rocks when you drop them. Plastic not so much.
