Why is the outside string skipping better in this last example? You have to move more? If you started with an upstroke you'd have to move much less when skipping, no?
I think you're right and I also think It's good to practice both ways but at the end of the day do what comes natural to you. Noobie here though
Claus, what is the downside to picking the B string with a down pick and high e with another down pick and then up and down. It feels like sweep? Thanks!
