- On Friday, The All-India Congress Committee released the first list of candidates for 39 Lok Sabha constituencies from eight states and one Union Territory following a meeting chaired by party president Mallikarjun Kharge. Congress MP Rahul Gandhi will once again contest from Wayanad, a seat he won in 2019. Of the total 39 candidates announced, 16 are from Kerala, seven from Karnataka, six from Chhattisgarh, four from Telangana, two from Meghalaya, and one each from Tripura, Nagaland, Lakshadweep, and Sikkim. In the same context, a significant debate emerged on 'To the Point by Preeti Choudhry', raising questions about whether Rahul Gandhi will only contest from Wayanad or if Amethi will also be a seat for him in the election. Wayanad is strong hold seat for congress, Muslim league has an upper hand there. It's a cakewalk for any congress candidate. He is not even facing atleast 1% challenge. He is feard to contest from north , because of bjp supremacy. Even in south he could contest from Kerala only.
