India and Pakistan separate on the basis of religion simple India is a Hindu country and Pakistan is a Muslim country but both countries have the same culture languages only the difference is religion

arun partap singh it came from hindus and Sikhs as India and Pakistan was one country before 1947. Walima (wedding food) comes from Arabs..it’s our culture too and yours as well, culture comes from where ever you live and who ever you live with so that is culture..
do you realise India and Pakistan were one country less than a century ago? Ofcourse we have the same traditions when it comes to weddings and festitivies, there is barely any cultural differences. Religion and culture are very different, weddings are about culture, religion comes in during Nikkah dear.

Traditions are nothings but offshoots of Religion .Mehndi , haldi all have religious significance as well . So in a way these traditions what we follow are nothing but a channel to connect ourselves with our glorious past where Raja Dahir was our ancestor not Bin Kasim .
@@ar2964 cultures and traditions start having more connections with regions and ethinicities with time. arab weddings have their own traditional events and celebrations, just like south asian weddings do. we aren't following anyone else but our own ancestors from the subcontinent.

Although, we’re lesbians and she’s Muslim. some might see that as haram which sort of complicates things, but her parents are ok with us which is good.
