What an honor for the Graham whanau. Both carvers are exceptional and I am sure the visitors to the Bienalei will be very impressed, they too eat eel, kina, koutai, pipi so Tangaroa is lapping at the door. For people coming from an industrialised now computerised world seeing so much lush nature can be wonderful with no concept that these swamps, bush and forrest are the cupboard, frig, freezer or root cellar.
Tena Koe e HOA, Na mihi e the whanau, I whenua ke atu, I wahi ke atu. Tino miharo tenei Tuhoe tangata, ki nga mahi whakairo, penei ( indigenous art's, contemporary artists) Ka rawe the mahi Ka rawe e Koro ma. Kia Kaha the whai rawa I tou ake mana, me kii the whai Tinorangatiratanga.
Thank you for this video documentation, and congratulations to Mr. Graham for creating such a great work of art and it's inclusion at Venice.
