    RESIN SAFETY
Please use resin with care. Any health and safety questions should be asked directly to the company of the resin you use. Read your product safety data sheet (SDS) before using, always wear PPE- nitrile gloves, respirator and goggles or a full-face respirator. Do it in an open, ventilated area- separate to your living spaces. Long sleeved clothing is also advised. Do some research into using resin safely so you can be as well informed as possible to the possible health risks of using it incorrectly.

Ok so... We need to have a conversation about
    a) how relaxing this is
    b) how STUNNING your work is
    c) how PROFESSIONAL it all looks
    d) the quality of these molds...
    e) just how gorgeous this all is (I've kinda said that already but yeh)
I'm really considering starting up an Etsy or some kind of store, and seeing your work just makes me want to do it even more! Could watch this all day!

@@SeriouslyCreative I'm actually currently not on social media anymore because I wanted to focus on UA-cam... So everything I make is on my channel! So feel free to pop over and take a peek when you're not too busy! I wanted to ask if you've ever used UV Resin at all? That's what I tend to use a lot of because I get it from the Sophie and Toffee boxes.. Wanted to know what you thought of it if you'd had any experience with it? I also just watched your mold video which was very helpful.. I already have most of those Miniature Sweet molds in my basket hahaha! Soon as I get some money I'm going mold shoppiiiinnng!

are there molds i can buy that have the ouija board on them but like witchy? Or crystal like molds? I am getting into resin art and have a lot of questions. One i'm really eager to ask is do you have to let one layer dry before putting another layer ontop of the first layer? For example, making a pyramid with three different colors. Bottom layer is blue, middle is yellow, top is pink, would you have to wait for each layer to set before adding another layer? Also how do you not make it a mess while working? I got it all over my hands and the cups. How do you clean the extra resin off your supplies? and how do you chop the extra pieces off the finishing product? With dull scissors or with sharp? Do you have to sand the almost finishing piece down? And can you use any material like paper, lights, plastic, metal, stickers, ect in the resin? I love your work and keep up the great progress!

How do you make the cat’s paw shinny? My problem is also the product turned to be froggy at the surface. I want it to be as shinny partly just like your cat paw. Could you share? Thank you.

You need to top coat it with some kind of resin I believe

How did you do with your “paws”? Do you use the same resin and wait overnight?
I tried uv resin (with proper light) but fail. The surface isn’t smooth and shiny as I expected... :(

Yes i just put resin over those parts to make it shiny. Uv resin isnt as shiny as 2 part epoxy 😊

How do you avoid air bubbles? I bought a silicone mold and have tried to use my “amazing” brand epoxy and it causes so much bubbles on the face where I pour. I do the lighter on the open side to pop those bubbles. But struggle with the other side ...

    • @SeriouslyCreative
      @SeriouslyCreative  5 років тому

Maybe try mixing the resin realllllly sloe with a big spatula (not a thin one) ... this is what i do to try and avoid them. Then let the resin sit for 10 mins to allow bubbles to rise and pop before pouring. Im going to try and make a video on common problems soon. In saying that i still get bubbles.. they're almost unavoidable

also I've seen people recommend "guiding" the resin into the mold with a Popsicle stick but that obviously only helps with smaller crafts
