I went flying with my girlfriend today :-) Years ago, when we first met and went flying for the first time, I flew to an airport on the West coast of Florida. On takeoff, the hydraulic pump failed and the landing gear only partially retracted. I emergency extended it, but there was still a problem. A line of thunderstorms had developed with the afternoon heating and was on our track back to Gainesville. I had nowhere near normal cruise speed on the Arrow. Seeing all the lightening from the sky was pretty cool. She was great through the whole flight.
That's awesome. My wife hasn't flown with me yet but when she does it will be similar, just add more swearing and physical violence every time I do anything other than perfectly straight and level flight.

Really helped me pick up the language quickly. Although it was all for nought. Been so long, about all I can do now is order food, beer and, ask for a bathroom.

Hey LewDix, Have you ever thought about doing some MS Flight sim stuff for us Simulator Pilots. I've done a few patterns around Executive but Some tips on some routes to fly around or anything else you could think would be Huge.
