Bio: Ruslan KD is a Christian UA-camr of Armenian descent who was a refugee from Baku, Azerbaijan, before moving to the United States as a child. He started his UA-cam channel in the mid-2010s, which has since grown into a popular platform for discussing faith, lifestyle, and music. Known for his insightful commentary on Christian living, culture, and personal development, Ruslan has built a community of followers who value his thoughtful approach to contemporary issues. In addition to his UA-cam presence, Ruslan is a speaker, author, and advocate for godly ambition, often addressing topics related to leadership, mental health, and the integration of faith in everyday life.
Our mission is to encourage, empower, and inspire people to live a life that Blesses God, in accordance with His word. As the Psalmist proclaims, "Bless God in the great congregation, the Lord, O you who are of Israel's fountain" (Psalm 68:26 ESV), and "Every day will I bless Thee; and I will praise Thy name forever and ever" (Psalm 145:2 KJV). Just as Simeon, after encountering Jesus, "took him up in his arms and blessed God" (Luke 2:28 ESV), we seek to lead others in a life of stewardship, relevant engagement, and practical living that honors and blesses the Lord.

Finding and listening very seriously to Jonathan Pageau has been the main reason I began going back to church.
I am currently a catechumen with my 4 kids in my local orthodox parish.
For those interested in the foundations of Christianity and just discovering his and his brothers work - I say they are absolutely worth your attention.
Ive listened to nearly everything he has posted (as I work a trade job with headphones) Here are my top recommendations for anyone wanting to hear more, arranged in order from general/easy to deep/complex.
    1. The perfect mode of Being (interview with Peterson)
    2. The christian story is inevitable (interview with speak life)
    3. Symbolic vs literal interpretation
    4. There is no literal meaning
    5. How science is nested in religion
    6. What is logos
    7. All other podcasts on petersons channel with pageau. (A lecture by pageau: the symbolic world, 4 horsemen, deeper yet into the weeds with pageau and vervaeke)
It's not about Pageau the individual. We all know that. But he has eloquently provided a window for modern people to return to an ancient worldview in which everything - undeniably - matters.
Feel free to upvote so more people can see the list :)

Does he believe in an afterlife though? Hell, God's wrath and judgement, the cross as a real and necessary substitution to forgive our sins and cleanse us, saving faith and being born again, and Jesus being the only way and God Himself?
From what I've heard from him (a couple of hours), it seems to me he's more open to the scriptures as being metaphors meant to inspire and guide us so we can become the better versions of ourselves. Which would explain why Jordan likes him so much, since he teaches roughly the same thing.

@@GustavoRivasMendez I've watched quite a bit from him and he absolutely believes all of those things. There's a big difference between believing the Bible is metaphorical and believing it's symbolic. In fact in order to understand how true and literal the Bible is you have to understand the symbolic nature of every bit of the Bible, it makes it more true than any other book and puts every other religious doctrine to shame once you understand the symbolic accuracy.

I visited different denominations, but never found what that missing thing was until I came across a video from Jonathan Pageau and I heard about Orthodoxy for the first time. After taking the time to look into it, I finally decided to attend a liturgy and found that missing thing in the Orthodox Church. The reverence , holiness, traditions. But then, on the other side people were exalting personal freedom in a similar way. Not an easy line to walk, putting "goods" in their proper place. I was an atheist for the last 20 yrs. Over the last yr I've come to realize that my atheism was based on just as much faith as when I was a Protestant Christian. Both are stories that I decided to believe are true at some point. I nolonger know what is true. All I know is that everything gets distilled down to faith. Nomatter what I believe, it's because I'm placing faith in my capacity for logic, reason, & understanding. The cruel irony that it took me 20 yrs as an atheist to come back to faith as the source of my belief.

Found Jesus, "well he found me very scared and broken'. Had no relationship with God till months after, felt that odd. Now I make decisions that i do not expect any win from nor any recognition if at all this side of my grave. The highest good at all cost. The costs have been huge. I had a $1.5 million dollar house and now I rent. Pride stripped, shammed etc etc "Making her long game look pretty short now."

I noticed how the break room walls are completely covered with posters about safety and store profits. If you believe in Christ and embody His honesty, faith, and charity, you will never be disappointed.

Worship means to pay attention, among other things. Worship etymologically means worth (worthy) + ship (quality or state of). 'Worship no other God's before me' means he is most the most worthy. Worthy of our attention, worthy of our offerings/sacrifices worthy of our gratitude and love. Worthy of total submission and many more things that we have to offer.

Something our pastor says often is that despair happens in our lives when a good thing that has become an ultimate thing is blocked or taken or fails us.
Only someone who cannot be blocked or taken, and he will NEVER fail us. That is the only answer to despair in this dark world. The answer is the Christ.

Nehemiah 9:35 spoke of this. When times are good, values and gratitude fail. It's the same cycle as hard times create hard men, which create soft times which create soft men, which create hard times. It's cyclical
