I really like my Formex Essence Chronograph 39mm. Has Genta-esque styling with a guilloche dial reminiscent of the omega aquaterra. Though it takes small details from various big name watches, it’s unique enough to have its own charm. And the green dial is absolutely gorgeous. And at around $1,500 it’s hard to beat.
I do really like the Essence 39. I’m not sure if I could classify it as something that looks like anything else (more expensive) but not every watch has to remind us of something else. I really think it stands on its own!
What do you think of the SEIKO ASTRON GPS SOLAR WATCH (blue face) It is retailing at £1800 and it is limited edition. I love the watch myself though I think it is expensive. Thanks
I mean you can't go wrong with Seiko. And the GPS solar tech is pretty cool. If you want something very accurate and travel a lot and want easy time zone changes, I think it's a very valid option. It is also a pretty good looking watch. Gives me slight Royal Oak vibes without looking like a copy.
Pagani Design are just copies. No different from fakes in my view. I wanted to discuss watches that have similar look and feel but aren’t just cheaper copies.
