Another Great video! I'm just out of high school in South Africa and am only going to the US for College later this year am feeling very motivated to learn programming 💪
I love your videos! I'm not a dev (I'm in data science / statistics) but I like your day in the life videos a lot. The intros are definitely my favorite part. Also Repobear is a really neat idea.
Great point about becoming comfortable with not knowing something and learning on the go! Another point I would like to add from my experience is be comfortable asking questions. Having constructive dialogue is key to helping everyone on the team grow. If you find yourself in a position where questions/learning isn't encouraged, you may just be in a bad environment 😉 Love the content, keep'em coming!
Hey Jacob 👋, I've noticed your videos popping up consistently, but I haven't really looked into any stats, so I may be wrong. I get the feeling that your titles are starting to look the same, and other than the timestamp of the upload, I wouldn't be able to tell what's the newest one without it. I might even miss it if I thought I already watched it. Or as a new viewer might miss that you've done multiple of these videos over the month. Maybe you should consider labelling them as a series? I'm not sure, I'm not a UA-camr. The only thing I can think of is that the "Day in the Life" algorithm is doing well with the current structure. To anyone reading this comment, feel free to correct me if I'm wrong. I just thought I'd mention it if no one else already has. Love the videos, by the way. ❤
speaking on the development talk in this video. The biggest thing my boss currently taught me is learn how to ask questions. Write it out, does it make sense? Correct Terms being used? think the question out. Better question = Better results.
Did you ever do Data Structures and Algorithms for qualifying a job ? Do you think we need to focus more on development rather than completely grinding on DSA ?
How did you do the charts? I saw in some video that you made it. But I went to shadcn ui and it doesn't have charts components there, I just found for vue.
I already have an idea for my webapp project and Techstack which are (React, Typescript, Tailwind, Nest.js, Prisma, PostgreSQL) that you suggested. So where do you think I should learn next. Thanks a lot for the guidance!
Yoooooooooo congrats! 🥂 Yeah highly recommend taking react course or simply jumping directly into the front end developer complete course. Will include advanced react stuff to learn soon too 🤝
i only drawback i find with shadcn is once you use it, you should consider using its components and have limits on custom components however you can still do it but results of inconsistency. I'm still a fan of shadcn btw
Love the video!!!- would you ever be interested in doing a discord? a little dev community to ask each other some dev questions share projects and tips and we could do like a dev chat section on there as well?

Finally done with SCRIMBA - Learn Typescript,. Now, I want to build my webapp and apply TS. Which course should I take next, React?
