Back as a kid, Tak 2 was one of the hypest sequels in gaming for me. I fell in love with The Power of Ju Ju and had no idea Nickelodeon made a second game until I saw it in a magazine at the barbershop. The cover art looked so cool how they showed an older slimmer Tak, the new characters, and sheep Traloc in the background. Quite an unpopular gem that will have a special place as one of my favorite childhood inspirations. Thanks for the upload sir!

Something about the whole writing is pure comedy,the voice of lok being joe Swanson is hands down the best scenes
The dream guide voice acting at the beginning us really obvious foreshadowing and i feel really stupid for taking over 10 years to realize
I know I’m not the only one but it seems like everyone forgot how popular this whole series was (especially the first 3) it came with multiple games, Macdonalds made toys for it, had a TV show and lasting it WAS a ride at The Mall of America. But now this whole game is almost forgotten

Tak needs a remake! In my opinion the Tak trilogy is one of the best 3D platformers of all time! Jak and Daxter got nothing on Tak! The only reason why Jak and Daxter gets attention because it was made by Naughty Dog. Tak and the Power of Juju is a way better trilogy! Bring back the Great and Mighty Warrior of the Pupanunu people THQNORDIC please!
When I played this game, my whole motivation was to get the cool side of the staff (green part) and use it.

I remember playing this on my ps2 till like midnight when I was a kid! My mom would tell me to go to bed. I wouldn’t listen until my dad would come to my room and take away my remote 😂😂😂😂
I can easily see them Remaking the Trilogy with a couple of modern conventions like a crafting system and unique new moves.
And in the case of this game I can see them making another story that takes place after the main story where you use the other half of the staff…and that story can set up The GJC

@@shuckyducky3471 Yeah, but it only hits one enemy, and it might not be the one you wanted. Although it's the only one Woodie Shaman can't counter with resurrection since there's no body. All together I'd rank them like this.
1. Jaguar - Short ranged, but instant kills multiple enemies.
2. Eagle - Instant kills at long range, but only one enemy.
3. Piranha - Long ranged, powerful, but can only hit up to 3 enemies.
4. Dragon - Hits multiple enemies, but is the weakest while being short ranged.

Looking back on this game makes me wonder, when choosing a spirit animal, which one was the one the moon juju going to have tak use.
I know it’s supposed to be that they give different abilities and it’s a pretty good method of replayability, but it was eluding that one of them was better than the others, so i kinda wonder what that one was.

The Tak games were my Jam. I got the whole trilogy (First 2 on Gamecube, and Great JuJu Challenge on PS3). Course was never able to beat them all. Couldn't get all the moonstones in PoJJ, died allot during the final gauntlet of SoD, and timed nature of areas in GJJC were not something I liked.
