Ooooh I've been wanting to try that Ice Gel metallic paint! I love how all of the silver elements turned out, absolutely gorgeous 😍
For the ice effect, I think an ombre would be stunning too. Maybe you could paint the color first and do the effect on top top?
Love the way you explained encapsulation--I don't think it confusing at all. And not the Dorito 😂 Maybe just sharpening the edges with a file would make the shape more clear? ❤
Totally get what you mean about looking too long at a set and starting to notice small things 😂 I like the color combo though, and I think you're right about a white background helping it pop! And own that artist title! I count all types of creatives as artists. Usually it's the designing process that is hardest 😊

@@GetPressedNailsByC get itttt - you seriously won’t regret the ICEGEL - I think I tried 3 other silver paints before landing on this one 🫠
Omg yes!! Thank you for the idea I’m going to bookmark this and try layering on a coloured base first in future, can’t get it on a deep blue out of my head hahaha 🫡
Yeah I think you’re right, I have a very up and down relationship with 3D gel, sometimes I have the patience for it and other times I’m like ‘that’s good enough’ 🤣🤣
Here’s to us being artists and continuing to progress our skills & creativity 😌 thank you for watching and supporting as always, Cai 🤍

I bought the Ice gel silver chrome gel because of you! 😆 Love it and this video is a reminder for me to use it more! I'm also sooo close to getting the dvok cherry blossom set but I'm heading to Japan in a few weeks so I plan on buying a bunch of nail stuff there so I'll have to wait!

@@MichelleMidori omg I’m so happy you like it !! 🙈 truly is a ride or die product for me now. At least DVOK released the individuals for the cherry blossom collection so you can pick them up whenever! Super excited for you to go nail shopping in Japan omg, will be able to pick up so many cute charms in those underground malls 😩🥹 thank you for watching 🫶🏻

Love the Dvok green! I’ve used it once and it’s so pretty, perfect for 3d grape nails! And I love the 3d gels (like the toy gel), but I have problems w bubbles in it, maybe i should use more alcohol on brush to smooth it out? Ty for video!❤

@@genahebert4 omggg a 3D grape design with this gel would SLAP 😭 truly is a gorgeous green that I can never get over 😩
Hmmm, which 3D gel are you using? I’ve only used Valla toy gel and Kokoist boba low gel but I deffo had more difficulty using KK boba low gel (stickier / sometimes bubbles). Valla Toy gel is a dream to work with though. I also find the flat silicone tools & nonstick card make it a lot easier to work with 3D gel - I do use the blue Mylee gel cleanser on my silicone tool whilst moulding if it’s getting a little sticky though so I think using alcohol could help! Thank you for watching 🫶🏻

omg yes 3D grape nails 😩 I also struggle a bit with bubbles in syrup or clear 3D gels! I find using a combo of: trying to make sure you pick it up in a ball (so it doesn't have ability to trap air) + letting it settle a bit into the design / shape + using a sculpting brush with 99% alcohol helps me with bubbles!
