Could almost smell the money from asphalt. Was on a paving crew for four years in Boise. We would pave up till Thanksgiving weather permitting. If the temp was 40 degrees and rising the asphalt went down. We used transfer trucks and trailers. 17 tons in the truck and 18 tons in the trailer. Great job.

    we paved into December .
If a building was going to open in Feb or early spring we had to do the binder no matter what.
They plowed and swept snow off knowing full well we would be back in the spring to do the repairs and add the second lift.

Hi there from up here (Vancouver B.C.) been enjoying your videos as I just found em. Been to the Seattle area many times. You're a real professional. Ive been studying your pup trailer handling as I handle a twin axle 28 foot trailer (two actually) that is heavy. Watched carefully as you backed the pup to the paver, and then back to the pup trailer. A real pro. Hope to see more of your adventures.

Your doing a hell of a good job. on the tandem truck and pup when I was on paving late in the year middle 1980s Edmonton, Alberta. Canada we used diesel and. kerosene too spray in the box before we started our. shift and usually paving ended late October of each season / very good. driving and you look after your equipment / One tip. watch your weight you look good now but don’ t let your guard down. steering and gearing and sitting bad on professional drivers you don’ t want too. look like you have too climb in the truck cab sideways in the future, / keep on trucking. have a. good trip and. safe day / Bill.
