I grew up in Kempsey, spent most weekends at the Rocks, Trial bay, Crescent, Hat Head, now live in Brisbane...i need to head back home for a holiday now! 👍👍
Awesome beaches and Mermaid Pools was really cool. Good to see Kayla out and about with you again. Missed her laugh and loved the bloopers at the end 🤣
Well Done Tyler, wow you are really getting the content out Its going to be funny when you sell the Navara.... "Navara, only driven on Sundays" Thanks for showing us your backyard mate, an area i have marked to return too Loved Hat Head... And you are super lucky to be able to beach drive them
Like you I LOVE my Nissan Navara...possibly the most under rated 4 x 4 when off road! Used to go as a kid to Port Macquarie for holidays and stayed at the Blue Dolphin motel. In later years a group of us would go to Crescent Head and camp there for 10 days...and after 40 years its still a tradition...what great scenery around the district!
Thanks for keeping all the Really cool parts of SWR under wraps. Although Mermaid Pools is worth a visit. We've checked out most of the areas between Sydney and Bris. and we just keep coming back to SWR, about 3 times per year. Nowhere else has anywhere near the variety of different places to enjoy. Each day up there you have to choose from about 7 or 8 totally different venues, where you can have fun. It truly is unique.
Nice one Tyler. I'm jealous of where you get to live, love the mid north coast, best climate in Australia. And had to laugh at running over the GoPro twice.
Thanks mate, definitely are lucky to live in such a beautiful area. Haha yep i made sure to get it twice, good thing it didn't damage it, shows they are pretty tough
Good one Tyler. My folks used to live in Port and I always used to call it "Paradise". You showed why! Need to get back up there. Your photography always shows off just how beautiful that part of the coast is. Best beaches in the world. Cheers PP
bit late to the party but i went up to Diamond head last year for a weekend and took point plomer road thought it wouldve been quicker! definitely wasnt hahaha went dark and started flogging down and a mate decided to get bogged! will be taking the beach next time lol!
Another excellent video Tyler. I really need to get back up that way, only a few hours from me. Great to see you and Kayla having such a good time. I reckon Tourism Oz could learn a thing to two from you guys. You only have to read the comments here to see what appeals to people, natural unforced content. Looking forward to the next one......
I recently was in this area & too enjoyed the dunes although after posting some pictures to fb 2 people have told me it illegal to drive on the dunes (all in mid North coast) have you heard this. There is plenty of well used tracks there & I would of thpught they would be blocked of if was illegal. Love all you videos mate.
Hey mate, to be honest I'm not a 100% sure. This is the problem with some of these places, theres nothing there saying you can't, no signs, no gates etc but then they expect you to know you aren't meant to be there.
@@TylerThompson90 I spoke to the ranger this week as you said there's nothing saying you can't only written on our beach passes say we can't drive on vegetated areas anyhow he has told be it is illegal to drive on them & they have been meaning to block the track but are short staffed. I had a great time on them so it's a shame were not actually allowed.
Excellent video. I did that trip a few years ago but didn't know about the dunes, are they near Hungry Gate camping area? PS, they've jacked the beach permit fees up a fair bit.
Thank you! Yeah I did notice beach fees have gone up a fair bit lately, keeping us broke haha. They are about half way between Crescent and Hungry mate
Great work Tyler . Video looked really crisp . Are you still using the a6300 or is this filmed on a different camera 🎥?? The go pro footage is heaps better now you have the black !! Ps this is the first episode karly my wife watched . Winning!
Hi Tyler, great vid mate. Just bought colorado and dominator camper. Any suggestions on where to go in the mid north coast that we can have a 4wd around towing?
That’s ok bloke. Some of the areas look accessible. Looking forward to doing some stuff up that way when we move there. Maybe we can get together and you could show us some spots👍👍😉
@@TylerThompson90 just a quick one fella....what do you use for deflating your tyres when out? And what do you recommend for re inflation? A built in compressor or stand alone ?
Hi tyler, how long did you walk from the parking spot to the cave at limeburners national park? And how do we find the way through the cave? Thanks, love your videos!
Hey Tyler, really enjoy watching your videos and good to watch you getting out there and adventuring. Also noticed you wearing “boogin” T-shirt’s, but you being from Port MAC, you had to be a body boarder 🤙 From one fellow booger/4x4 enthusiast, keep up the great vids 👍

Cheers mate, appreciate the feedback

@@TylerThompson90 just a quick one fella....what do you use for deflating your tyres when out? And what do you recommend for re inflation? A built in compressor or stand alone ?
Just use an ARB tyre deflator and just have a compressor I connect to the battery to re inflate, its not a built in one
Do you do the driiving by yourself or do you have backup thanks awesome videos love them
Cheers mate, yep I'm the only driver
Good stuff mate, Which beach did you camp at again? I reckon I need to go there too. Cheers Steve
Cheers mate, just a bit of a secret spot I know back in the bush a bit, not on a beach
Hi tyler, how long did you walk from the parking spot to the cave at limeburners national park? And how do we find the way through the cave? Thanks, love your videos!
Hello, the walk is only 10-15 minutes from the carpark and you won't get lost in the cave, its isn't very big :)
Hey mate where did you camp on those dunes?
I did Crowdy Bay National Park last week. This looks just as good! Great video mate
Thanks mate! Yep they are both great areas
We’re heading up here on the way to Byron for a road trip for New Years, planning to stay over night - do you have to book any campsites?
Im pretty sure most of the campsites are pay as you arrive but not 100% sure, it will be crazy busy around then, might be a struggle to get a spot
Did I miss the Great Ocean Road Vid?
Coming out soon mate, just editing it at the moment
