Thanks for the video! I remember seeing them in concert back in 1982 in Lancaster! I had this album, but lost it. I heard it is on CD now. I always felt they deserved so much more respect and exposure then they received. So talented
WOW! Hi christopher I was a very good friend of your dad and your uncle Joseph. I graduated with your uncle Joe and the bass player Joe Wilhelm and the drummer Alan Hetzel here in Hummelstown PA. These guys backed-up Blue oyster Cult and 38 Special and others back inn the early 80's...your dad is a rock GOD. Your dad is awesome guy and a GREAT guitarist. Please tell dad I said Hello...I'm sure h e will remember me...just tell him Case-Dude says hello! Eddie
these guys were my favorite band to go see...i wish i could go back and see them again...so many good times...any idea where i can get more recordings?...
This song is as good as a lot of bowie songs. It reminds me a lot of the man who sold the world album but better. I have listened to thousands of songs in my lifetime and this is up there.
I went to HS with these guys, they were from my hometown of Hummelstown, PA Got to hang out a few times with them like back stage at the Forum in Hbg opening up for .38 Special, Metron in Harrisburg and Villa Leo in New Cumberland to name a few. I blame their manager at that time for not getting them more exposure. They should have made it bigger than they did.
Used to follow them around Lancaster. Have the album and a few 45's as well as an FM104 Rocks central PA Album with a track under WINTER CITY name. Searched them was hoping someone would have a video but yeah mostly before VHS cideo camera's....
I had seen these guys many times in late seventies... unlike some commenters I think that the Scorpions were a major influence on them, the guitar work is very similar. Their version of "This is my Song" led me to the Scorpions. Always wondered what happened to them. The last time I saw them was probably about '81 or '82 at the Old Colony and then Joe was struggling with his voice, probably from overuse. and it was one of the first times I think that I heard John do a lead vocal.... ISTR that it was Alice Cooper's 18.Christopher, please do write and let us know if your father and uncle still ever play anymore... I live a few states a way now but if they did I would be interested in seeing them perform again. They always played a very good show.
For more information, a few live pics and an extremely rare live instrumental by Full Moon / Winter City called ' Asteroids' , go to my channel.. Thanks for posting this - it is one of my favorite songs . These guys were awesome live ! I agree , I wish there were some live vhs footage available. [ or a studio version of Asteroids ]...
Hey Christopher, what did your Dad and uncle end up doing with there lives?? They were great, I played in a band that played at Catholic high with them 2 times in the late 70s They were an inspiration to my band

The lead guitar player is my dad and the singer is my uncle. Dead serious
