- Last weekend I had the pleasure of celebrating my best friend, Tori, in Las Vegas will all her best friends! We ate, we drank, we gambled, we bonded, we laughed, and we cried. im my bff's maid of honor, and im so excited but stressed!
I ordered 2 different very large makeup bags for my girls. One of them was asking them to be my bridesmaids and the other is a good quality canvas bag that I not only ordered for my bridesmaids but the entire wedding party (my fiancé and myself too) and yes I included my Aunts and Uncles and Godparents from both sides. So, I have to count the bags now and see how many I actually ordered. The person I ordered them from also put names on them for me (additional charge of course). So, now I am looking for what to put in them.
I did tell my other half that I think I need to set up the guys with double the supplies (Groom and Groomsmen) because I know they are going to be drinking the night before I just don’t know how much.
I also found that it was a little more but a better idea to buy the 20/24 count of Advil and the 24 count of Tylenol and stick them into the bags. These bags are a work in progress and certainly certain things will need to be bought closer to the date but, I have a running list of what to buy and where and a friend of mine is an event planner and is giving me a book she made up for me that is like a “Day Planner” that is in a 3 inch, 3 ring binder with zipper and is a Datebook she made for me that has every day planned out with actual calendar pages and schedule pages with checklists and so on. She says I am the “First” she has done this for but did so because she knows the more organized she keeps me the better it will be and the less likely of a “Melt Down” or goodness only knows of a “Bridezilla” moment to happen. She has had plenty of Bridezillas and hates them with a passion but it’s her job. Me, I am more likely to be the “Melt Down Major” so, keeping me well organized and a book that I open to the next day the night before and look over things briefly and go to bed then look again in the morning... it is keeping me on track.
