Just keep that in mind and teach your worker. Oh, an my Dad got the failure in his early 50s. Passed away at 63. Thoae chemicals are no good. Your worker seems like a good kid. The G will make a great weekend racer/drift car or even just a fun "beater" which it isn't...but at $5k, it's beater priced. So if you could keep repeating that...making $2-3k per car in your pocket...you might be able to pay off the boat? Haha.

Praise where praise is due, critique where criticism is warranted and above all acknowledge where your processes fall short of supporting them appropriately. Craig! I had a grey 06 G35 coupe and ordered a new black primered front and rear bumper and my buddy got the paint code and sprayed them. The same exact thing happened the bumpers were way darker than the rest of the car. Either they used a white primer or Xfinity paint codes are off. I've ordered prepainted bumpers and fender flares off Ebay for 20 year old cars and they matched so something funny is up with Xfinitys.

I think you might be on to something with Devon?! He can Vlog and work. Train him well and he might be your next big thing!! Great vid! G35 is cheap for a running vehicle!

Hell yeah that's good You got some tire marks in your lot now. Almost every intersection in my neighborhood is like that .. try doing 10 to 12 full details a day at an auction in a lane everyday. It'll destroy your body

Why not do a paintless dent removal on the dent in the back? Would take a couple hours to do it correctly. I do love that you are giving Devin(sp?) a chance to learn as he goes, a lot of shops wouldn't do that and would have destroyed him for the job at the end he did. He is learning and his work ethic is solid, if you put the work into him he will be invaluable to your company. Your mechanic on the other hand... Might want to find a new one...

The products you use under the hood to shine up the engine bay, don't they stink up the place the first few times the engine gets hot?

Be a better coach/mentor Craig. Don’t call your staff out in front of thousands of watchers. Pull them in directly, tell them about all the good things they do and give them some constructive feedback. Good employees are hard to find.

Disagree. Dave has been there for so long and been a mechanic for so long that missing a check engine light and E brake in a manual is inexcusable. Devin clearly gets a pass but not Dave

Question for a body and paint man. When polishing a car, is it OK that the pad is so imbalanced. It seems like it would skip and dig.

Craig, that paint isn't the same color. I'd check the paint code with what you ordered. It looks like is B16 crystal blue metallic instead of B30 Blue Metallic.
