Awesome list, my fav Dc reads for 2023 Under the red hood dlx, Absolute superman for all seasons, absolute new frontier and the Batman White night and Curse of the white knight dlx ed.
Read all of those in some form except New Frontier! I’ve heard awesome things about that book I’ve just never had an opportunity to pick it up :) Thanks for the recommendation! And yeah loved that under the read hood Deluxe edition I had never read the Lost Days before that collection such a great companion to the under the red hood storyline 👏
@@TheComicBookReport mannnnnnnnnn DC on it next year: Absolute Superman by Geoff Johns, OMNIBUS: The Flash by Joshua Williamson, Aquaman by Peter David, Secret Six by Gail Simone, Hitman by Garth Ennis, These are all books I never thought would ever happen.
Some of my favorite first time DC reads from this year were Meltzer’s Green Arrow Archers Quest, Teen Titans by Geoff Johns omnibus, Wonder Woman Historia, and Superman Birthright
@@TheComicBookReport characterization is such a focus. It’s really interested in showing the lives and relationships of the kids and bad guys just pop up along the way. Plus the Infinite Crisis tie ins (which I’m not sure if they’re in that event Omni) are some of the best event tie ins I’ve ever read, they really enhance the story
I’m honestly not sure if they’d add those works since they are not part of their proper Batman comic book runs. It’s certainly possible but I’ve seen stuff like that go either way

Is the king and zdarsky Batman books something that would most likely be included in a future omnibus that they’d do for them?
