We appreciate the man for taking the time out from his bolt job to stop by the booth and ask his questions. In winter times, is it possible to stand inside malls and give dawah? In some countries you can even temporarily rent a small space at the corner inside malls to setup tables for business purposes. Can it me mimicked for dawah?
Probably would be quite difficult but would have to look into it, don't think they'd really like religious preaching especially Islamic inside the malls here but then again I don't know for sure. We discussed with a brother however how we could make the dawah nicer in the winter if we were to do it outdoors: by giving hot tea or coffee out and perhaps some sweets or something for free for those coming to have a chat.
@@nordicmuslim Need to come up with some innovative ideas to continue the dawah during the snow covered months of November-April. Even when it's a blizzard outside, malls usually remain calm and warm, hence mentioned it. And a bit of warm coffee and sweets would be a nice gesture, for those who are sincere and come with genuine queries about Islam.
Narrated Anas: A young Jewish boy used to serve the Prophet (ﷺ) and he became sick. So the Prophet (ﷺ) went to visit him. He sat near his head and asked him to embrace Islam. The boy looked at his father, who was sitting there; the latter told him to obey Abu-l-Qasim and the boy embraced Islam. As more and more scientific discoveries are made, religion finds itself at odds with science. Many modifications to the meaning of texts in the holy books have been made to make them more compatible with reality. The 'big bang' for example has been found in the Quran, although in reality the big bang was not the beginning. The fact that religions are constantly changing their ideas to suit science only goes to prove that the holy books were actually written by men. Had the word been from 'God' then the content would already be true. I could never now go back to believing in a god', as the evidence I see is way too strong to allow 'God' to be anything other than a myth, a bad guess by someone in the past, or perhaps a lie with an intent to control people, albeit for the good of humanity.
In that case I hope you are a wonderful life. If you want to be guided, may Allah guide you. But if you don't want to be guided, it is your choice. Whoever interprets Qur'an to fit with the modern discovery, they are all free to do so. But when Allah says "the heaven and the earth were joined together and we clove them asunder", for most of us, it just means that the heaven and the earth were joined together and Allah clove them asunder. If you ever feel like you want to know more, try picking up the Qur'an yourself, it'll be made clear to you.
I told you before, we don't care about your opinions and thoughts. You are nobody special so unless you have evidences for your claims, then save your breath. You have not even shown that you have the ability to think critically and this is obvious by the amount of fallacies and EMPTY claims in your past and present posts.
What proof would you accept that would cause you to accept God exists? I mean if you claim that you would like proof then surely you must have some kind of idea of what that proof looks like. Over to you...
God is an absolute, transcendent Lord. God is absolutely incomparable to His creation. The Tertullian-like doctrine of male preference and a gendered God-figure find no equivalent within Islam. We believe in Jesus being the massiah. Jesus is a prophet as opposed to an incarnation of the divine, but one of the highest honored prophets. When Christians innovated and adopted the unbiblical Trinitarian belief, Rather than worshipping God as Jesus taught, Christians instead chose to worship Jesus and innovate doctrines like the Trinity, Original sin, Atonement by crucifixion, and faith based redemption. The Trinity is illogical and no amount of logic will improve upon something that is a contradiction to begin with. Jewish and Christian scriptures have been textually corrupted. Unlike the Bible and previous scriptures, the Qur'an was not passed down from generation to generation or century to century progressively altered in content and language. The Quran is untainted, divinely secured, immutable and unchanged. It will remain intact and preserved till the last days. The Quran is the unaltered verbatim word of God, revealed through the Angel Gabriel, to the final Prophet, Muhammad, peace be upon him. There are no "versions" of the Quran - like you see in Christianity and the multiple bibles. Muslims to this day continue to emphasize the importance of memorizing the Quran word by word. The Quran discusses previous revelations such as the Torah, the Psalms, the Scrolls of Abraham, the Gospel of Jesus and the Quran given to Muhammad as the final revelation. The core message of God’s Oneness remains consistent in all revelations. Abraham, Moses, David, Jesus and Muhammad and all the prophets and messengers said God is One as well. All of them maintain the monotheistic belief in the absolute unique incomparable oneness of God. God is forever One and has never and will never have another alongside Him. Jesus himself prayed to God and he is a creation of God. Only God is absolutely sovereign. Say, ˹O believers,˺ “We believe in Allah and what has been revealed to us; and what was revealed to Abraham, Ishmael, Isaac, Jacob, and his descendants; and what was given to Moses, Jesus, and other prophets from their Lord. We make no distinction between any of them. And to Allah we all submit.” Islam reject doctrines of incarnation, atonement, and Trinity - mankind is not fallen and in need of redemption. The idea that we’re sunk in a mire of despond and original sin is rather a miserable under-estimation of the way that God’s actually created us. A human being can be reconciled to God through God’s infinite power to forgive The concept you would find in Christianity which states that "people are corrupt by nature" and "mankind is sunk in a mire of despond and original sin" absolutely doesn't exist in Islam. Christians erroneously believe that "as a result of Adam’s wrongdoing or that Adam brought upon himself, and transferred to his descendants, a permanent state of sin that can only be lifted by sacrificial blood" But for Muslims, we are not genetically-defective cripples, destined to be beaten for a crime we did not commit. Adam and Eve turned in penitence to God, and God accepted their repentance and forgave them both. God forgave them simply when they repented. This is the nature of God’s forgiveness. There was no blemish passed on to their progeny. (And no "vicarious sacrifice" needs to be made) The Qur’an declares that no soul bears the burden of sin of another soul (Qur'an, 6:164). The God of Mercy and Justice cannot punish children for their father’s sin; He even opens the way to our own individual ‘turning’ at every moment of our lives. Prophet Muhammad took his people from the depths of idolatry into the purest form of monotheism. And in all this, he attributed his success only to God. He was, the most humble of men. He was forbearing, polite, courteous, and mild. He paid no attention to people’s outward form, but assessed and responded to their spirits. He forgave constantly. He was indulgent with the simple Bedouin of Central Arabia, the roughest people on earth. When one of them. who wanted money, pulled his cloak so violently that it left a mark, he merely smiled, and ordered that the man be given what he wanted. All of this came about through his detachment. He had his solitary times with his Lord, in the long watches of the night, forms of tahajjud prayers so long and exacting that he forbade his companions to imitate him. He fasted in rigourous ways that he would not allow to others. He was detached, and yet in his world, as his sunna entailed living in the world, not running away from it. He was truly the khalifa: the one who has no ego. Living the sunna therefore means emulating his inner as well as his outer perfection. In the Quran, the Day of Judgment is described as a day in which neither wealth nor children shall be of any benefit [to anyone], except one who comes to God with a sound heart (26:88-89) The sound heart is understood to be free of character defects and spiritual blemishes. This “heart” is actually the spiritual heart and not the physical organ per se. Every criminal, miser, abuser, scoffer, embezzler, and hateful person does what he or she does because of a diseased heart. If hearts were sound, these actions would no longer be there. If we examine the life of the Prophet in Makkah, it’s clear that he and the community of believers were being harmed and oppressed, but they were patient and God gave them victory. Within 23 years, the Prophet was not only free of oppression, but became the leader of the entire Arabian Peninsula. Those people who once oppressed him now sought mercy from him; and he was most gracious and forgiving in his response. Despite their former brutality toward him, the Prophet forgave them. This is the difference between someone whose heart is purified and sound and one whose heart is impure and corrupt. Impure people oppress, and the pure-hearted not only forgive their oppressors, but elevate them in status and character
