Yea I know the way they did this song is awesome.Vinnie Paul kills it on that drum fill coming back into the main guitar riff. They just add their sound to the song and make it awesome.
Sabbath were the boys that forged that iconic sound and Pantera took it and made it a weapon of thier own! Sabbath are the fathers to the Pantera genetic! 👑
Out of all the other Sabbath covers (which are all good) Pantera are the only ones who really nail the Sabbath sound. If Sabbath came out in the late 90s this is how they would sound.
I completely forgot about the Fuckin Monster Cover of Electric Funeral the Mighty Pantera did for this album and it hit me just as hard as it did the first time I heard it. Rest Well 🙏 my Brother's
Fuckin badass. Heard this cover years ago and forgot about it. Heard it on ozzys boneyard on SiriusXM today and had to search for it. Not on Apple Music or anything. Fuckin jaaaaaam.

Pantera's covers definitely sound more like the original Sabbath than most of the other songs on this CD... but I actually like when bands put their own spin on the songs. This is good and all, but if I want to hear Sabbath sound like Sabbath, I'll listen to the original most of the time.
Agreed, its fun to see what other bands do with it. I kinda feel they all do well, but this is definitely one of the best ones with original sound and a bit pantera, just needs a bit more cowbell
pantera n slayer did good but fr me a good tribute shud sum of their own spin n style on it,likke wht system of a down n hed.pe did,,biohazard did a real kickass ,after forever in volume 1.
That cover was supposed to he on the first Nativity In Black, but some record company bullshit kept it from being there so they put it on the end of Far Beyond Driven
Best cover on the album.
Pantera were on another level, the best!
Don't forget also Pantera's awesome cover of Planet Caravan (Far Beyond Driven album)
Absolutely. I think Pantera did it better than Sabbath personally
And Hole In The Sky
Outstanding performance by the mighty Pantera!!!!!!!!!!!! R.I.P. DIMEBAG AND VINNIE PAUL ABBOTT!!!!
by far Pantera did the best cover here.
And no, that's not a debate
Yea I know the way they did this song is awesome.Vinnie Paul kills it on that drum fill coming back into the main guitar riff. They just add their sound to the song and make it awesome.
i liked soad and megadeth's covers
Pantera and soad did great covers, soulfly too
One of my favorite Sabbath 's. Super cover. Kick ass!
When the kings cover the lords.
Actually it should be the other way, Pantera as lords and Sabbath as kings (if we are speaking stricly about titles)

Idea was for the bands to play it their own way. This album is good but the first one was better.
Ugly Kid Joe and Corrosion of conformity in my opinion did their covers well too.
@@hunterraoulduke which is why i really like they 1000 homo djs version of supernaut. Way different.
Yes, they are good. But I like vol.1 cover more...
Best cover on the entire album. PANTERA WILL ALWAYS KICK ASS!!
That 1 person that disliked.whats wrong with u?lol
Out of all the cover songs on this album, this was probably the best of all of them.
I completely forgot about the Fuckin Monster Cover of Electric Funeral the Mighty Pantera did for this album and it hit me just as hard as it did the first time I heard it. Rest Well 🙏 my Brother's
Aguante pantera, independiente y argentina!!
Gracias Pantera por esta gran version
Omg This song is more traumatic than any movie ,soooo tetric , wow!!!!!
Pantera still rocks 4 ever 💪🏻💪🏻💪🏻
This tribute album was the weaker of the 2 nativity in black albums by a substantial margin. But this song is one of the best tribute covers
I love it 🤘
Slayer's Hand of Doom Cover is also great, but the best cover on this album is undoubtedly this one in my book. Phil really gets it.
Pezzo da paura 💯💯💯💯💯💯💯💯💯
What?! One disliked? Are you crazy man?
Blasphemy!
Maybe he's the original-zealot type.
Why is the Les Clapypool NIB cover forbidden?? That's the best cover ever!!!!
It's on UA-cam now. For now.
GREAT!!! 👿☠😜✌🇧🇷

It's going to be included as one of the bonus tracks on the 20th anniversary of Reinventing the Steel, October 30th.
@@3-D_Man omg, i love u. I miss, a lot, this track on my playlist!!!
Anselmo fucking nailed this
Anselmo kills everything
He sure killed Pantera

I'm sorry but Pantera did it better
Better than Sabbath?! LOL ridiculous.
Better than Sabbath?
I don't know about that, but I'd say they're at least comparable
Of course they did. Every band in existence grew out of Sabbath. They had better equipments than Sabbath
