What a BEAUTIFUL Box for such a BEAUTIFUL Lady! I Adore Joni!
Ladies of the Canyon was the first Joni Mitchell album I purchased. I was 20 when I bought that album. I'm now 68, and Joni remains my all-time favorite musician. Joni has this way of finding creative ways to express her music; a unique chord, a change in rhythm, stories told, harmonies dropped into a chorus that catch you off-guard. Joni never fails to take my breath away. 🎶 🎹 🎸 🎤 ❤
If we talk about lyrics and melody,she's in my top 5 of all time,easily...an immense,immense songwriter.

Looks like another great Joni box set. I just got my LADIES OF THE CANYON album on vinyl last week for the first time. My first Joni Mitchell purchase was BLUE on vinyl last Christmas (bought it for myself!). An undeniable stellar singer songwriter. Thanks for unboxing this new collection.
Would love to hear your review on Johnny Rottens brand new album with P.I.L-The End of the World. I thought it was fantastic. So good to see Johnny rise from some dark times with the loss of his wife Nora and his own health issues. Reminds me of Johnny Cash in a similar position gifting the world with a masterwork. P.I.L sounds incredible with a huge sounding, a bit more melodic (not a bad thing) and Johnny sounding incredible singing like his soul depends on it...maybe in fact it does. When many would quit, Johnny gifts the world with a masterclass. The king AINT gone and and he certainly AINT forgotten. Oh yea, Joni was pretty cool....for a hippie.
I get my xacto knife handy when I open my LP/box sets. I cut a slit (or a rectangle for box set) and keep the wrap intact
