Cheers Mark mate, yeah the Trudex seems nice, think I needed a heavier float on tho in this upload... Thesiger was really flowing well... I have 7 Centerpins now so I'm a bit spoiled for choice 😂, all the best pal 👍🎣
@@yorkshireriverrover7199 that’s excellent. Great sport on the centrepin. One of my favourites was Tf gear one, ratchet broke 🙄 Hope to catch up soon pal
Sure you will pal 👍, yeah so many Chub about this year, see them with glasses on when water is clear, brilliant to watch there reactions to the bait... cheers mate, all the best in your fishing 👍🎣
Another good video mate been cubing on the river Don had a cracking 6lb 9 ounce chub on feeder worms as hook bait keep them coming mate tight lines people 🐟🎣😜
Thanks pal, that is a belting Chub from the Don mate 😮👍, biggest I've heard of coming out.... I've got the DDAA book this season so will be on the Don plenty this season, all the best mate , thanks for watching 👍🎣
Nice one,if i see a slug i always put it on the hook but i have never caught one on slug so i was having my doubts...but this was epic for me seeing you catch on el-slugo brilliant
Yeah they are great for free-lining as are quite heavy.. the Chub smash them in this River but on other Rivers I've not had as much success.....thanks for watching again pal 👍🎣
Cheers Bud, can't wait till your new car arrives mate, these Chub are waiting for you 😂, yeah we need another session soon pal, last one was great in hot shallow conditions....its way better now 😉
nice work fella! I had a freelining session on the ribble last week but blanked! much prefer smaller rivers like this where there are features like this! very good condition for early summer! 👍
I agree mate the Smaller Rivers are alot of fun n way more features to explore.... freelining under the trees is exciting, had a nice Barbel on worm last year when I was expecting a Chub, I need to try fly fishing for em at some point too 😉 👍🎣
They may well do, but they were always the worst bait I ever used, as a kid - although I always used to read about them working. It's not for nothing that they don't need a shell. Fair play to you for making them work. I'll try them again next time I'm on a river. Nice session!
Nice to see you using traditional vintage tackle pal keep these videos up mate brilliant
Cheers Tony, yeah loving the vintage pins mate. Cheers for watching pal 👍🎣
Excellent mate. Good session. Nice centrepin too👍🎣

Same here. Never really caught on the big ones but small ones were quite good for roach.
They are slimey bliters ain't they 😂, the early months June/July seem to be the best I've found... give em another go pal 👍🎣
I must try the small white ones... get loads in my garden every morning 🤔
Ola! I'm curious, which centrepin did you prefer - the Hayes has a wider drum - does that make it easier to use at all? Cheers
Hi mate, yeah the Matt Hayes is a bit easier n smoother than the Trudex pal, deffo better when the flow is steady I think 🤔
