Poppy Playtime 4 is the SCARIEST PART #1 - Poppy Playtime Chapter 4

After a long year the wait is finally over. The exciting story of Poppy Playtime continues with the fourth chapter! Poppy Playtime 4 continues where we left off as Poppy and I are descending on an elevator. We head to a part of the factory that is very different from everything else. Here we meet all kinds of new toys and characters like Doey. But also creatures like Yarnaby are on the loose.
The visual quality of Poppy Playtime has gone up so much with each update and this latest chapter is no exception. The absolute standout has to be Doey who is animated so beautifully and detailed. Every minute he was on screen was an absolute joy. This chapter is also the most story heavy yet with plenty of tapes to find and also a lot of readable notes. There were some really cool twists and turns and also some interesting puzzles to solve.
Unfortunately I did have mixed feelings with this as I encountered numerous bugs that soft locked me during the playthrough. During a sequence with Yarnaby the game auto saved when I was grabbed and I would perish each time the game would load which forced me to do an entire section over again. Later I fell through the level and even at the end boss the boss itself glithced out and I was forced to restart. I love the new characters, story and gameplay, but the bugs made it to where I prefer the experience I had with chapter 2 and 3. I am sure the developers will update the game in the coming weeks and months. It is clear that we will get a Poppy Playtime 5 and so when I revisit this game next year I am sure I will enjoy it a lot more due to all those bugs being patched out.
