Canada's casualties: 61,000 military personnel killed and 172,000 wounded.
The U.K's casualties: 418,361 killed, 167,172 died of wounds, 113,173 died of disease or injury, 161,046 missing and presumed dead and 16,332 prisoners of war deaths, around 1.6 million total casualties.

Czechoslovakia's casualties: 185,000

Serbia really had a hard time in 19th century and in 20th century...first serbian uprising 1804-1813,second serbian uprising 1815,struggle for Voivodina 1848-1849,serbian-hercegovian-montenegro wars of independence 1875-1878,serbian/bulgarian war 1885,and in the end final war of liberation of serbian territories 1912-1913 first balkan war and second balkan war...at the end first world war and second world war 1941-1945...we Serbs fought a lot of wars only for the last two centuries and we paid our freedom with huge number of casualties and people sold to slavery😥

They US didn’t want to get involved and it wasn’t until unlimited submarine warfare the Zimmerman diagram and a generally good relationship with England and France prompted us to Join in 1917. They didn’t start drafting until 1916…
