Decking boards. Grooves up or down?

Have always fitted them grooves up looks better definitely not as slippy

Most of them were grooved both sides years ago so you had no choice ! Lol. I fitted some smooth side up and they got bad shakes in them eventually .I prefer grooves up but each to there own
