I hear you say MJ doing lays that guy's do today, I say he did things that no one still to this day hasn't done or could do, probably with the exception of Black Mamba of course! Even Kobe didn't get MJ lay-up book, but he still had a decent lay-up package. MJ skill set then, from the eye test today hasn't been matched or passed up, he was just different from everyone else past, present or future!
The thing about Jordan is that sometimes a modern player will have a play and people will call it Jordan-esque, or like Jordan, but whats incredible is Jordan was like that every night of his career.
@@jackastor5265 bruhhhh, will you please say it louder for the young homies in the back to hear you lol! They just don't get it man, we're talking every single game you never saw the same highlight twice because the guy was just that nice and different with the ball in his hand. As a kid growing up in the 90's MJ had us going outside immediately trying to recreate what we just seen him do on the court, there was nothing like it, and nothing since. I guess that's one of the many reasons he's the GOAT!
You beat me to it! Jordan did things we hadn't seen before or after him. If today's NBA cats were doing Jordan-esque type moves I wouldn't have cancelled my NBA League Pass.
Have you watched the Jordan Masterclass fundamentals? Just ask because for a video easily available online it is actually really informative, and although it won't make anyone fly like MJ, he had underrated fundamentals. Really underrated. Just because he was so athletic. But getting to hear firsthand the strategies he uses both offense and defense are incredibly interesting and I think would make even some of the least athletic ballers better players if they just got the fundamentals down. A lot of players really don't have great fundamentals - the goat had it all.
More than once i have seen Jordan go high for a dunk and land on one leg, keep bouncing without putting his other leg down. You know how difficult that is to do?
You're very astute for your young age. That's exactly how you learn and your b-ball game evolves. By studying the greats. Even though I'm about a foot shorter than Magic, I emulated his game and mastered the art of passing. Cats loved to ball with me cause they knew if they got open for a split second I'd find them for an easy look. I also watched a lot of Tim Duncan and Shaq, and when I got older and couldn't beat cats off dribble I started dominating in the low-blocks with impeccable footwork. So many times I was told by heads taller than me that I had the best foot-work that had ever played against in the paint. I'm 52 yrs. old with bad knees and I still get mine down there.
MJ had an incredible first step, I would rank it EASILY Top 10 all time and strangely, its the sticking point I encounter constantly with Lebron fans. They become incredulous if you claim Jordan had an electric first step but it becomes readily apparent he did have an incredible first step if you watch his highlight videos. He got around everyone with that first step. Everyone.
Top 10? Who has a better first-step off dribble or jab step? I've seen them all in person since 1980 and I haven't seen anyone with that scud missile type of first step.
There’s a lot of guys in today’s NBA who does bits and parts of what he does because they watch the practice. Try to be like God Michael Jordan was a most complete player of assembly defensively mentally honestly had an a weakness he was the most complete player sent down by the aliens. I’m just joking, but everybody’s chasing Michael Jeffrey Jordan‘s legacy and they will never get it ever everybody’s talking about Bill Russell, Kareem what chamberlain Magic Johnson, Larry Bird they’re all freaking amazing basketball players there’s only one of Michael Jordan mic drop
So glad to c younger generation understand the air work GOD mj was & he 1# young ppl should do they history lesson. Thks . Lbj have no style in his game . His game is ugly

Paul Pierce would say that's The Truth! Jordan had too much steelo. He was a Bugatti at Autobahn while Bron is a Waste Mgmt. dump truck on Mars terrain. No comparison - just like GOAT debate.

@@katrinachavez3533 Yes sir!!
@@jamesmitchell3615 I used to own a 7-ft. Jordan Jammer. We tried everything on that rim, tongues flying everywhere.
MJ was just on another level I mean his accomplishments in basketball history are beyond legendary

Just imagine this MJ in today's league with no big men and a spread out floor spacing and the lane WIDE OPEN!!! Lol come on now
Preciate the vid bro!
No problem bro 💯
Missed you too bro😂🖤🤞🏽
😂😂💯🤞🏾
One thing I noticed about jordan is he makes a shot and immediately runs back to play D
goat jordan
Jordan and Kobe are probably the 2 greatest shot creators in NBA history.
Have you seen anyone go baseline like MJ? He was so quick getting to the basket and dunked on the way up like no one I've seen.
MJ was quick as hell!!! His first step was killer allowing him to just blow by defenders and he was just faster on the fast breaks
You're dope bro, because you're a student of the game before you're a fan💯
Preciate that bro

Shimi work well with MJ because he has fastest first step, if they don’t react he’s gone.
MATT, WHATEVER YOU CONTINUALLY PRACTICE & PERFECT, BECOMES A HIGH PERCENTAGE PRODUCTION IN YOUR GAME!
I appreciate that bro, that's real 💯
GOAT 🐐
I tried adding LeBron's flopping to my bag. I got my ass kicked at the YMCA.
You know and I know that basketball 101 when you shoot you miss follow your goddamn shot good things happen
What Kyrie can't do is bang on a 7fters head if they dare contest the rim.
Who doing what jordan doing these days? consistently every game not just a few games a year.
Don t forget to watch defense by MJ, that is why he was different he could kill you on both side of the court
