I’ve been laughing along with this show for years and years and it never gets old! It’s absolutely hilarious 😂 I just love it & I love to laugh .
When it gets to the hell part though it does remind me of how desperately I wanted to know more about the Bible when I was very young.
I learned that sitting in a church , attending church every Sunday , sitting in a both telling a man my sins didn’t get me into Heaven the same way sitting in a mechanics shop didn’t make me a car 😂 or a mechanic! 😂
I learned that Mary doesn’t take your prayers to God……Jesus Christ does & only Jesus Christ .
Salvation is through Jesus Christ & only Jesus Christ .
There’s only different interpretations of the scriptures to those who want to justify their sins or twist scripture to suite themselves so they can live a life outside of Gods ways because the scriptures on how God desires us to live are just not that complicated & the Bible is kind of like a recipe book you can’t add or take anything away or it messes everything up. God says the same thing about adding to his word or taking away from his word…….DEUT.4:2
But I realise the Bible & the existence of God will be discussed, disputed & cause conflict until the day Jesus returns ……..with everything going on in this world scripture is being fulfilled as we comment ! It is interesting though how someone who is not meant to be real or exist can cause so much conflict etc.
Santa clause isn’t real but we not only pretend & encourage that belief into our children we don’t get all worked up about war about it because we know it’s not real just like the Easter bunny 🐰 isn’t real . But the mention of God had a whole different effect on people. There’s got to be something in that !!!
Everything we look at , eat , use , read , has a creator & surly there has to be more than this world……I use my free will from God to believe there is . 💚💚💚💚🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏

Wow, just wow.... Just for some inspiration like Sam Harris once said: Worldwide 17 children die each minute. What kind of "god" would allow this? Either an impotent one or one who doesn't give 2 cents about it. Either way, try to emancipate from the imaginary friend of yours... You will make your life brighter and of all the other ones as well...
Just take the example in this short episode: Ray was miserable, his mom was and perhaps they got the poor child worry as well. And all because of some poisenous religion... Get rid of it!

This was one of the moments where Ray was COMPLETELY in the right. His job (which pays for Debra and the kids) requires him to be home during that time. Instead of leaving him alone, they all attack him. People love to shit on Ray, but this is not a time when that’s valid.

It does not, he could record it and Debra does everything else and she doesn't get "alone time". He criticizes her for wanting to do things outside of the house and or getting a paid job, because he never wants to do his part. He also, doesn't want to do family things because he would actually have to parent, he could sit in church with them for two hours.

The old "Sunday Christian" argument, if I go to church I am going to heaven. Reminds me of this verse, I learned a lot of them after I was forced into Christian school. "I know your deeds, that you are neither cold nor hot. I wish you were either one or the other! So, because you are lukewarm-neither hot nor cold-I am about to spit you out of my mouth."Revelation 3:15-18
Now my favorite, that I learned at around 5 years old for a piece of candy is Romans 12:21 "Do not be overcome by evil but overcome evil with good". Saul/Paul, not a great guy before he was a Christian or after, but I do like this cherry picked verse, but hey, "even the devil can quote scripture to suit his purposes". Keep smiling strangers, but as Yoda said... "Do or do not, there is no try".

The Mass is the central liturgical service of the Eucharist in the Catholic Church, in which bread and wine are consecrated and become the body and blood of Christ.
As defined by the Church at the Council of Trent, in the Mass "the same Christ who offered himself once in a bloody manner on the altar of the cross, is present and offered in an unbloody manner".
The Church describes the Mass as the "source and summit of the Christian life", and teaches that the Mass is a sacrifice, in which the sacramental bread and wine, through consecration by an ordained priest, become the sacrificial body, blood, soul, and divinity of Christ, as the sacrifice on Calvary, made truly present once again on the altar.
The Catholic Church permits only baptised members in the state of grace (Catholics who are not in a state of mortal sin) to receive Christ in the Eucharist.

We are saved by faith alone and accepting Jesus as our Lord and Savior. Missing church doesn’t mean you are going to hell, the church is the body of believers actually. But as for Ray, the fact that he lives for nobody but himself and thinks if he does good deeds that’s good enough shows he would be going to hell.

Then, when you are truly sorry for the harm you caused, murder, war crimes ecetera, then there is karma to pay back. The church made up the devil with a tail, horns, and pitch fork. Hell, as claimed is a place of fire and brimstone to scare and control their followers into staying with the church as their only means of going to Heaven through the church and only religious rule.
