I like how Noble immediately swaps character tones for Cheren and Bianca. Cheren is the more efficient speaker where Bianca is the boisterous and fast talking one.
Me after reading the title. Oh so Noble is playing Pokemon Mystery Dungeons Explorers of Sky! Me after looking at the thumbnail oh... well best story for a mainland game I guess!
But not by much , Base stats on Samurott are 100 in ATK and 108 in SpAtk. Still weird that Serperior and Emboar have their Signature being in the correct category but not the dang thing with a Sword on its head.
Started playing this on an emulator too! Was just out of the loop enough that I missed this and other DS/3DS games at the time, so it’s fun to start playing it now
Make sure you play the sequel of whatever game you're playing (black -> black 2 or white -> white 2). The plot & world is a bit different between black & white and those differences carry over.
This game made me who i am today, i was changed by it, it helped me understand how much fun i could have my starting my own adventure. This was my first pokemon game, not playing yello, or silver version because my borther had lent them to me, but actually begining my own story at my own pace, with my own console (DS). I will always love this game.

The new ones are too easy and the grind is over now every battle all your six get xp making it too easy and nothing is hard to catch.. no need for masterball when nothing is hard to stun and throw a shit ton of greatballs
This is gonna be fun. I'm looking forward to seeing which Pokémon will end up on your team by the time you take on the Pokémon League. The next gyms you'll be facing are the Bug-type user Burgh, the Electric-type user Elesa, and the Ground-type user Clay. Please be sure to explore the desert areas between Castelia City and Nimbasa City as they'll have some good wild Pokémon. The Roggenrola on your team right now will eventually evolve into Boldore. The only way to evolve her into Gigalith is via trade, so since you're playing on an emulator, check to see if you can enable trade evolutions.

If we're talking main games black and white 1 and 2 are the best story. However if we're talking all pokemon games it's got to be colosseum and xd. Plus the starters for both games are eeveelutions.
It's just too bad how the anime was a complete disaster, because for whatever reason the executives thought it was a good idea to lower Ash Ketchum's intelligence and Iris was one of the most annoying & hated female companions from Black & White anime. I personally think the anime creators should have just stuck with Black & White games story, rather then banking on 90's nostalgia.
The anime was phenomenal. much better than this game. What you say is just complete misinformation. Ash Ketchum's intelligence was not lowered, but heightened and people's dislike of Iris tends to stem from their own immaturity. The anime creators don't adapt the game btw, they never have, they've always created their own unique, wonderful story that fits the medium better and is overall a much better, more fleshed out story, which is only natural as the game must focus on gameplay first.

Black & White anime literally turned Ash into a dumbass for no other reason, other then creators just being lazy and not introducing a completely new main protagonist. And Iris was still one of the worst girl character companions in the anime. Calling Ash a little kid every single time is freaking annoying. It makes Iris just feel like she's nothing but a self righteous brat. Which is completely opposite of what her character was in the Black & White games. If you seriously think that the Black & White anime story is better written then the actual games one then you are really just stupid. If you like the anime fine, but that doesn't mean I have to like it either or that I'm not allowed to have my own opinion of the anime.
While i completed both games and their sequels i can honestly say that my experience was held back a bit by the awful sprites and i mean graphically. Heartgold and Soulsilver came prior to this and look 10x better so yeah wtf.
Sometimes people confuse "verbose" and "interesting premise" with good story. BW story had potential, but it got bungled in execution. "Best Pokemon story" is already a low bar and I'm not sure gen 5 even clears it.
I disagree that the story was ruined. It's fundemantals are still there, but I agree that some aspects suffer from poor execution, but it's with little detriment to the story in it's essence.
@@TheMasterBlaze The main hook of the story is exploring the ethics of owning pokemon. That whole premise flies out of the window as soon as we see that team Plasma doesn't care about pokemon at all. This happens as soon as we see their grunts kicking Musharna around. The only part of the main story that is sort of effective is N, but he's being dragged down by bloated dialogue. He tends to talk a lot without saying much, if anything at all and that is just emblematic of BW story in general. I say that as someone whose favorite Pokemon games are the Unova ones. I will say that Bianca and Cheren's story is better written than the rest of the game though.
